Felicity's Chocolate Set was introduced in 1992. It was later modified, and it retired in 2005. It is pictured in the book, Happy Birthday, Felicity!
PC description: Felicity celebrated her birthday with hot chocolate since the Merrimans, like other Patriots, had stopped drinking tea. The gleaming chocolate pot has a removable finial on top. Remove it and put the wooden chocolate mill inside. Close the top, twirl the mill, and pretend to mix up a perfect cup of hot chocolate. Set the table with two pale yellow chocolate cups with delicate twisted handles, two gold-rimmed botanical plates, two forks and spoons, and two white damask napkins.
This is just amazing. Colette picked it up at the outlet for me.
WOW. It is so well made. The Chocolate pot is obviously silver plated. I can't tell if the forks and spoons are, but they are metal.
The little plates are gorgeous. The detailing is phenomenal. Literally, this set looks like a mini of what a real person would use. A + +

Chocolate Set (EBAC, Pleasant Company): B+ I wasn't really sure about this set for a long time since none of the pieces really look like they match and it was expensive, but when Mattel bought Pleasant Company I knew I had to get it before they had a chance to ruin it. The Chocolate pot is silverplated brass, Made in India. It looks impressive, I love how it looks with all the curves and details and the little finial. However the thing is a nightmare to clean if it gets tarnished and mine is flaking silver so I have sections where it is now brass. I looked into having it replated but the silversmith said it would be a waste of money as the replating wouldn't hold either, something about the quality (or lack thereof) of the brass. The plates are white porcelain with flowers and butterflies on them and gold trim. They look very elegant and delicate and go very nicely on the table. The cups are resin, yellow with pink flowers and green leaves and vines. Mine are the ones with the white insides and twisted handles. Very delicate and very beautiful, the flowers actually look as if they are painted on by hand. The forks and spoons are silver/silverplate and have little scallop shells on the ends on the handles. The napkins are white damask and are just large enough to fold like they are in the pictures. The chocolate mill is just a little wooden paddle with a long handle, but it really completes the set to have it.

Grade B+ As a child, I didn’t care for Felicity’s chocolate set. In my opinion the colors clashed and the pieces didn’t match that well. As an adult, I have more appreciation for this set and particularly love the story behind it. Felicity’s chocolate set includes: 2 plates, 2 cups, 2 napkins, silverware, a chocolate pot and stir. I have two sets of Felicity’s dishes one from 1992 and the other from 2000ish. The plates are the same in both sets. They even have the same Pleasant Company stamp. The older plates are a tiny bit heavier, but unless you had them both in hand, you’d never know the difference. It might be worth mentioning that the plates are known to chip easily. The white napkins, which have a tiny striped design, and the chocolate stir are also the same in both sets. However, some chocolate stirs are broom shaped. The chocolate pot and silverware have been a problem from the beginning. They started flaking several years after I got them. In 1995, I called PC to complain. Supposedly the pieces were wet when they were plated. They sent me a new chocolate pot and silverware which has been basically problem free. Although my family has never eaten off of polished silver, Felicity receives this luxury. I cannot believe I spend time polishing silver for a doll! Anyway this is a higher maintenance set. I’ve not taken the 2000 chocolate pot of the original box, so I don’t know what it looks like. The biggest difference between my two sets is the cups. The original cups are indeed resin. They are white inside and have white, twisted handles. The resin cups are very fragile and probably shouldn’t be handled by small children. The second set has yellow porcelain cups. The painting on the cups is also a little different. Although this set is pretty, it’s definitely higher maintenance and more for display than the other dish sets.

A+ I adore this set (it's the second one, without twisted handles). I even like the fact that the pot needs to be polished (I must remember not to use TOO much elbow grease!) It's the attention to detail that made me first fall in love with AG in the first place.

Here's another chocolate cup comparisons. I'm on a Mac, but the colors are close to true life: Here's an idea of how the items are sized in relationship to a doll: By the way, after staring at colonial tea pots for a long time at museums, I've come to the conclusion that Felicity's silver pot is really a coffee pot. Chocolate pots are usually rounder. See following from Metropolitan Museum in NY. www.metmuseum.org/toah/hd/coff/hd_coff.htm

My set isn't complete (I am missing the napkins and the second spoon and fork) but I am thrilled with it. I will let photos do the talking except to say that I think this set is simply beautiful and beautifully detailed, too. I like it much better than the later Tea Set (and I apologise for the cruddy lighting in some of my shots!):

We love this set. The pieces are so delicate and beautiful. We actually have 2 versions of the cups one made in China one in Tawian. The one on left is from China and is a bit taller and thinner feeling

What a beautiful set this is. I love the cups with the twisted handles and the plates are so sweet with their flower and butterfly design. Best of all Felicity has something silver plated.
