Leyla is hands down my favorite GoML in both doll and character. Her book was always my favorite of the series. I've never read another youth historical fiction book about Turkey. The story is fascinating and Leyla is a strong character.

I bought an incomplete Leyla on eBay because I thought it would be fun to have one for play as well as display. I do not have her complete yet, but will post pictures when I do. Even incomplete, Leyla is a stunning doll.

Love the slippers!

My Leyla is missing her kaftan, but her outfit underneath is still quite nice. I love the material used for the trousers. She has a very sweet face and her braided hair is gorgeous, especially the four braids adorned with pearls.

Beautiful doll, VERY worth her price.

Grade: A+

I just received the Layla I won from Ebay today in the mail, and I have to say that she is absolutely beautiful! The one I got is brand new in the box and I have not opened her yet, but she's absolutely darling and perfect. I got Layla for only three dollars under the original retail price, but she is totally worth every penny. I definitely recommend her!
