 Motor Scooter

I sent in a huge return order and got this in exchange. It shipped very, very quickly. It does come in its own brown box with the packing list in a plastic pouch on the outside- it does not come in a colorful AG box, just the styrofoam inside the brown box.

I know it seems cheap online, but it is amazing quality. I got it because my partner lived in Utrecht and became obsessed with Vespas. It is very sturdy- with one wheel in front and two in the back, so it does not tip. There are two rearview mirrors and a little hologram with fuel and speedometers. Just below that are three buttons: horn, engine revving, and the light. Only the light on the front of the scooter turns on, the back does not. The major con to this is that the light does not turn off when you press the "light" switch. It only turns off if you turn off the power button on the bottom of the scooter.
Unlike Marisol's stage, the power switch prevents you from accidentally turning on the top buttons and wearing down the battery. It did come with a little card that said "When sound no longer works, please ask an adult to change the battery."

The butterfly on the back of the scooter is flexible plastic, unlike the rest, which is hard. The helmet strap unsnaps on one side, but when I unsnapped it, the whole snap popped out of the helmet! I fixed it by gently working it back in, but I am just going to leave it snapped from now on.

This set is darling!

Pros: sturdy. great noises! headlamp very bright.
Cons: light doesn't turn off unless power switch is toggled. helmet strap not very sturdy.

When I first saw this piece, I thought it seemed a bit foolish. But, I wanted to get Jess' whole collection so I asked for this as a birthday present from my parents. I have to say that asides from the cost, the scooter is great! The quality of the scooter is not as cheap as it appears online. I love the sounds and how the light on the scooter works as well. I also liked the basket on the back. This is a great display piece for adults, and I think it would be perfect for hours of play for children. Although the pictures makes the piece seem as though it would take up a lot of space, it is actually not that bad at all. I give Jess' scooter an A+!
