Sprocket gets an A. He's a cute little guy. Much bigger and fluffier than Kit's Grace. He feels like a stuffed animal compared to Grace. He has a burgundy leash attached to a burgundy collar that has a silver piece of plastic hanging from the front with the letter S on it. The leash however is sewn into the back of his neck. I thought they could have made that removable.

He comes with a box of Training Treats that are sealed but if you shake it, it sounds like something is inside it. Box says, "for large dogs"

There is a Dog Log with ruled paper inside. A pack of two pupply clean up pouches and his green service vest with functional side pockets. It says Service Dog.

I wanted to take a picture of him next to Grace, but unfortunately I can't find what my daughter did with Grace.

Sprocket gets a B from me.

I with they had made him sort of articulated or wired so that you could do some sort of posing with him. He is a cute stuffed animal. I opened the dog treats and all that was in it was a few pieces of cardboard so don't waste your time thinking there might be an actual treat in there. The B grade is just because of those reasons. he wasn't even somewhat posable.

I'm not super thrilled with S[rocket either. I think I would give him a B or B-.

I was also super disappointed that the leash is not removable. The interesting thing is that if you look really closely at the picture of Nicki's whole world collection in the catalog it looks like the leash is attached with velcro. And even if you look at the close up picture of Sprocket online you can see a rectangular stitch box at the end of the leash where it looks like it is removable from the collar. I wonder why they made the prototypes this way and then got rid of it. I think it decreases the play value to always have a leash on the dog...Especially for the $24 price tag.

I give Sprocket a B too. I have both him and Jackson, and personally, I like Jackson more. You can't take Sprocket's collar off, and his accessories came across to me as being kind of cheap. I mean, his dog treats box is just that, a box, nothing in it, he has a dog log and a couple of cleanup bags. That's it. Coconut is more impressive. Of course, up until now, I only owned Coconut, no other AG or historical animals at all. Sprocket also comes across as a stuffed animal more than an AG doll's pet. I only have Coconut and Jackson for reference, but neither of them seem like stuffed animals, and they have better accessories.

Sprocket is adorable! He's soft and fluffy unlike Licorice and Coconut. His drawbacks are his head is permanently turned to one side and that his leash and collar are sewed to his body and unremovable. He still is sweet and Nicki was so glad to get him for Christmas.

Grade B+

We got Sprocket today and my daughter loves him. He is very cute, but I wish his collar wasn't sewn on. It is a bit akward. His accessories are cute, but I have put them up so they don't get lost.

Since there aren't any pictures of his accessories, I took a few.

In my opinion, Sprocket looked way cuter in the catalog, but, in the book, Nicki had to give him away, so I really wanted him for my doll. I ended up getting him for Christmas 2007! I give him an A because he is sturdy and pretty cute!
