I gave this outfit an A too. The shirt has a cute pink, white and gray flower pattern to it with a western style shoulder section and fake pockets on either side. The front buttons are functional and the ties come laying flat. You might be able to tuck them in if you wanted to.
The pink tank top reminds me of the one from the old valentine outfit (without the hearts) or the one from the On the Go outfit. Nothing spectacular.
The khaki shorts have pink stitching. The side cargo pockets are functional. Velcro front closure. There are functional belt loops for the belt, but the shorts also have an elastic waist band. The belt has butterflies and flowers on it.
The sandals are black and ridged on the sole-antiskid. The bottom of the sandal is a material that looks like it might be cork patterned or trying to be. Straps are dark -maroon or burgundy colored faux leather material.

I LOVE this outfit! The tie top is really cute and looks adorable both buttoned and unbuttoned. The shorts are nice, too, and have real pockets. The sandals are my favorite part of the outfit.. they look really good with the outfit. The clips from the Gala outfit also look good with this one. I wish they made a girl sized version of this outfit! A

This is currently my only Nicki outfit. I plan on getting her other outfits before the end of the year.
The top that goes over the tanktop is very pretty. Beautiful fabric. The sandals are sooo cute! The shorts are nice as well. The belt from this outfit makes an adorable headband!
On the sides of the shorts, they bunch up. I don't really know how much I like it... When you tie the button down top over the tanktop, you can only see a tiny bit of the tank top.
Overall: B+

Once again, I'll start by reviewing the box. Well, the box this time is pink, not burgundy, and this one wasn't crushed, so I'll go with A+. Shine on, you crazy box, shine on!
When we last left our reviewee, Goo had not felt like opening it to take pics for this review, so it languished unopened for half the day before Goo finally got up the gumption to do it. Here it is, all safe and snug inside of the box.
The shirt, Which really does button up, for those of you who were wondering. However, like most everyone except AG, I didn't use that feature. But we're getting ahead of ourselves. The bottom has long tails for the tyin'. Imagine that! I actually really love the colors on this. The mixture of gray and different shades of pink was really striking. The pockets are fake, just flaps where they would go, so meh on those, but yay for buttons! A
The tank-top. Am I the only one who thinks this looks less like a tank top and more like a camisole? Especially since it has the thin straps and the lace at the top, similar to the camisols in AG's cami & brief set.
Some detail of the lace at the top.
Claire wearing just the top (pardon her hair, I don't brush it until I'm finished dressing her). I'm pretty meh about this overall, because you don't really see it (unless you leave the shirt open like I did), but it still gives me this odd exposed underwear feeling. That, and with mine at least, the front is much longer than the back, so the front seems like it should be tucked in, but you can't stuck in the back.C+
Shorts! Cute, fun, stylish! Actually, they suffer the same "velcro fly is too short" problem as the Sparkly Sport outfit that makes them a bit hard to get on. The pockets aren't real, but more realistic than on the top, at least. So, what's the problem?
BUNCHING!
BUNCHING! AG sure does like that bunching! Again, the same problem I had with the Sparkly Sport outfit's shirt: weird elastic bunching. This isn't as annoying, since it doesn't make the shorts any shorter, but it does make them flare out in a weird way. B. Lose the bunching and we'll talk.
The sandals! These are a kind of burgundy color, with "cork" soles, and they are just adorable. And, as an added bonus...
THEY FIT! I've been having such a hard time getting AG's shoes to fit lately, that this was a pleasant surprise. Okay, so one of them doesn't fit as well as the other, and they're annoying to actually get on. But they're cute, and they don't fall off! A-
The ribbon belt, a.k.a. "how Goo impressed himself by realizing he knows how to put on a ribbon belt". The design on it is a cartoonish flower and butterfly pattern, which is pretty cute, and coordinates with both the top and the shorts very well. B+
Why did the hanger come in a plastic bag this time around? I've never seen this before...
Claire models the entire thing! I actually really love this outfit, for all of its weird flaws. I think it looks awesome on her, I love the colors and the style, and it's very well-made (especially the shoes). I give it an A overall.
And for those of you who can't get enough of Claire being not!Nicki (or were just wondering how the hat looks with the outfit), here's Claire wearing the hat as well.
ETA:
Here's the outfit with the buttom button done up. I think it looks better this way. The collar goes practically into her face if you do up any more than that, and it looks like this is what they did in the catalog pics, too.
By request (elsewhere), here's the most accurate picture of the colors on the outfit, so you can see how the gray stands out in the shirt and how the belt only has pink accents.

I give this outfit an A. I think that it is cute, and that it looks great on any doll.

I love this Nicki outfit too! I bought it for my girls to wear. It's adorable and well made. I give it a B because it doesn't fit Josefina or my other pre-mattel dolls. It's too tight in the biceps!
Help! I can't raise my arms!!
I called AG about this and they apologized and said that all their outfits should fit all the dolls.

The said the same thing when I called about the Kickin' Back outfit not fitting Liz. Then they offered to take Liz back and fix her. I told them no and just returned the outfit. No way am I letting them "fix"/replace my beloved ten year old doll.

I got this outfit when I heard that it came back online in mid Jan. for like a day. I had really wanted it but didn't buy it while Nicki was out. So I had to grab it.
This outfit is so nice and has a lot of pieces to mix and match. The tank top is plain so can go with many outfits and the shorts are nice and can go well with many other things, too. The sandals seem to stay on pretty well (which we all like) and the belt is adorable; I love the print on it! The tie-shirt is a nice mix of pink and grey-green. I give this outfit an A+ for being well worth the money for all of the pieces!
Kirsten is our model here as I do not have Nicki-yet.

With the tie-top not tied.
Without the Tie Top
The sandals-dollie toes don't hang off of them, either!
And last but not least, I took ronniestar14's advice and used the belt as a headband. It looks super cute as both a belt and a headband!

I sadly couldn't get much of Nicki's collection, but I made sure to snap up this outfit, my favorite. I love the versatility of the set--from the adorable khaki/cream shorts with the removable belt (looks FANTASTIC with Marisol's meet capris, too) to the pale pink spaghetti strap to the tie top with real buttons, I love it all. Ooh, and the shoes are cute; they even fit my Gotz Little Sister doll.
Grade: A+
I love the way it looks on #25.

My Haley (#23) has virtually claimed this one, though I bought it for my Nicki -- it's my favorite of the Nicki outfits and is so versatile. I got everything but the belt, from a board member. It's a nice summery set, sure to keep your dolly cool. A+.

Love this outfit...the shoes not so much.
Each of the pieces has so much mix and match possibilities. I actually like the runching on the shorts. The cami and top are a great shade of pink, which lucky for me, is one of favorite colors.
The shoes, for me are the weak link. Honestly, I can't pinpoint anything in particular...they are just ugly.
