I mentioned earlier that I really love the shoes. I do!
I compared them to the new Sweet Kitten Heels from the JLY line, and these are loads better for having the doll actually stand upright. Also, I found that the strap wasn't so tight on Beatrice's limbs as compared to Marelise's. I guess one of my dolls just has fatter ankles than the other.
Here are some photos of Beatrice wearing the shoes, so you can get an idea of how the doll stands in them:
As you can see, the hips jut forward a bit, but it's not too extreme. Compare it with the Sweet Kitten Heels:
Ruthie's shoes are really great, good quality, and a better heel design than the JLY shoes!
