For anyone wondering about how to remove, I boiled water and dropped the tray of doughnuts in for a few seconds to soften them up. I then used a pair of pliers to pull them off.
What a good helpful hint. I wish I had thought of that before I used a wide flat dull knife to pry the doughnuts off. I ended up scratching the silver tray surface in doing so, and had to repaint the areas with silver paint. Everything looks fine now, but I could have saved myself alot of extra work.
As a note: I did take the brownies out of the pan (same method) and then cut them into pieces using a little craft saw. The underneath part was hollow, so it looked as unpleasing as did the doughnuts on the underside, but at least the kids have individual pieces to serve up...... they look great, as long as you don't turn them over!
