Here's Felicity's Birthday outfit: the apron, socks, dress, and the headband. I got this around 2003, though I don't recall ever getting the apron pins.
Her socks are very lovely.
Hopefully you can see the design a little bit better in this pic.
Her apron is very nice as well. I honestly never thought as a kid that I needed any kind of pins to keep this apron up. Just smooth it out a little when putting it on and it stays on the doll just fine.
Closer look at apron design.
Now for the dress itself. I washed the skirt recently, so the bottom is a bit more crinkled then usual.
I recall one person saying she was worried about the flowers falling off, but I never worried about that. They seem pretty sturdy.
And here's the ribbon with the flowers. Nothing much else to say about this besides the flowers are kind of cute.
The socks look very cute on the doll. Shame it's always hidden by the dress.
They go up pretty high, about a B on the Zettai Ryouiki scale on TV Tropes.
I'm not sure how these socks would look on a modern, but Felicity's meet shoes go fine with it.
The dress, when non-crinkly, looks lovely on Felicity. I'm not sure how it would look on PM Felicity's and their bright red hair, but it looks great with her current darker hair.
This dress, as I presume with all of Felicity's dresses, has her little pockets that Felicity is holding onto right now.
Even if the dress looks good by itself, the apron always makes it look even better.
Felicity's hair ribbon. It's really completes the outfit, but I always had problems putting the ribbon on perfectly without it slipping out. It's not that big of a problem if it's for display only, but it's annoying if you play with your dolls.
In general, I love this outfit. I love how it looks on Felicity and I'm surprised that AG retired such a lovely outfit. Although AG's photo of the ribbon on Felicity's head made her look a bit silly.
