The shorts have elastic around the back of the waist. They fit well enough but I'm afraid Lanie might develop a 'plumber's crack' if she bends or sits down! The fabric is nice, thin enough that I imagine it would be cool to wear, yet Lanie's blue undies don't show through. The embroidery is neatly done... it's okay but I could do without it.I have this outfit and the blue undies do show through the shorts. My Lanie has to go commando.
