Here is Cate's meet outfit with the white skates:

I purposely pulled the sweater up a bit so you could see the embroidery on the skirt.
I like the thumbholes (different/unique) and the sweater sleeves feel like they'd be very comfortable. The skirt was a big disappointment because I thought, being a sweats type of material, it would be easy to get on, and it definitely isn't. I love the detailing on the skirt, but the sheer difficulty of trying to get it on means nobody wears it that often around here. LOVE the shoes (not in the picture). They are very easy to take on and off and look great with pretty much any casual outfit. I love the bright color. The tights are pretty standard for AG. I actually like that they're pink because I have plenty of white and black tights from various historicals so they are something different, and as such, Cate has developed "unique tights" as part of her style (she loves Lindsey's). I do think though, they have a more limited range for mix-and-match so if you don't have other tights that could be a negative. She has underwear (YAY!!).
The decals on my sweater have not started to fall off - but I also haven't tried to pick them off. Since I decided to keep Cate as a skater, I figured she would have some type of logo clothing from her rink.
As for the doll, Mia/Cate is one of my absolute favorites. I love the new freckle pattern and I love her hair even more. I like that it's layered. I think that does limit what you can do with it a bit but my hair is layered, so I am used to working with it. The only negative is that I think this makes her hair a little more fly-away prone (maybe because sometimes you can't pull back all the small pieces). My Mia is pretty average-sized for a Mattel doll (not too chubby but not super-skinny, and average height).
Grade: Doll: A+ Outfit: B
