I decided to try to take off all the stuff that makes my biked 'tricked out' and add some new pics at the same time. Lanie on the non-tricked out bike:  Close-up:  I echo most of the sentiments above, 'cept I think the bike is worth its price tag, given how well it is made and that you can actually remove the pieces if you want to. The license plate comes off with a precision screwdriver (Phillips) fairly easy and it is metal. The round things in the wheels actually have slits in them so that they can be added and removed from the spokes. The basket is cute and looks pretty much like one my mom had. It re-attaches with buckles. This is a very impressive piece, well made. A+ *Mod edit: dead image links removed*
