I bought my #21 back in February 2009. I went through two others in 2007 and then in 2008 that I just did not like; one had very thin hair and one went back to AG as she arrived damaged. Finally, in February 2009, I took the plunge one more time and bought #21 again, and initially, I had no idea what to do with the #21 I got. I finally decided that her name was Alexandra "Ellie" McKay, nine years old, from the same area as me. Some of Ellie's backstory is patterned after my own childhood. I really didn't care for Ellie's spit curls, so I brushed those into her hair. I have an entire album of pictures of Ellie that you can see by clicking on the teaser picture here. It has been an entire year, and I can honestly say that Ellie has held up very well, considering I've left her in the back of my trunk both in Salt Lake and in Vegas on the hottest days of summer, she has gotten countless dents, dings, and stains since I got her. #21 has probably the most versatile hair I've seen on a doll; her hair can be mostly straight or curled and it is just long enough where you can do short french braids and pigtails. Grade: A+
