I got this used on eBay. Mine is older, was abused by its previous owner (it has rust spots and was dented in some areas) but I still like it. It has aged gracefully for the most part, and is still perfectly useable despite the fact that its previous owner disassembled it and then lost some of the pieces. The basket, as CI Fairfield mentioned does hold quite a bit and the rack on the back can hold things fastened down. This bike is downright durable, and puts up with abuse well, much like my Saturn (which was also abused by its previous owner). I was able to take apart the bike in the areas that needed fixed and a few whacks with a hammer was all that was needed. The screws come loose with a standard issue Phillips screwdriver. Mine is missing the horn and the front light.
Like the MYAG trail bike and unlike Julie's bike, the gears really work and are made of metal, and move when the pedals are moved to move the back tire. I'm using my bike for Monica, as a modern bike. I've still seen bikes like this one. It is more classy and timeless, much like the trail bike, and much more realistic (not a trick bike) than Julie's.
