I got my JLY 23, Charlotte, for Christmas in 2009. She's very cute! I chose her because she's very versatile and can look good in a large number of historical eras. I really like her highlights.
There are only a couple cons about her. They are both about her hair. One, it isn't as thick and long as it looks in the stock photos. Second, it has layers, and it's very difficult to braid her hair. I guess this shouldn't be a con, because it's just a preference thing. Otherwise, there's nothing bad I have to say about her.
One thing I really like about her is that I consider her a "classic" JLY doll, because she's been around for awhile (2004), and she's hasn't changed much, if at all. Also, she seems very popular, and like I said before, she's very versatile.
