Shirt: This is the reason I bought the outfit - in addition to my dolls I have a "cute ghost" collection that comes out at Halloween. LOL The ghosts are a sparkly decal. I would have liked if the candy corn were colored instead of white like the ghosts - it just seems like this was the cheap way out, getting a decal that's all one color compared to producing another one for the candy corn that has different colors. Also, my shirt is REALLY tight; you can see it bunching at the armpits. It will work well for mix-and-match and layering though and I do think it is cute. Grade: B
Skirt: It is made out of orange tulle, and just has an elastic waist. It goes on the doll easily and doesn't stick out like a tutu as much as I thought it would. Cute. Grade: A-
Tights: These are cute and could work with mix-and-matching if you have something that is orange, yellow or white. I think making "candy corn" tights was a clever and creative idea from AG. They are pretty thick, so I wasn't as worried about completely tearing them if they ever came into contact with velcro, like with some other AG tights. Grade: A
Shoes: They are basically ballet flat style "crocs". They are made of rubber which is actually pretty bendable making it really easy to get them on the doll's foot, even over the tights. They are cute, but definitely casual. They are also kind-of a greyer shade compared to the shirt, not as black. I would have preferred "real" shoes but I think the idea of doll crocs is funny and they do fit nicely. Grade: B+
Hair ties: I haven't used these yet so not grading them right now.
Overall Grade: A-
I was really worried about the overall outfit looking silly or too young (even for the target age) but I ended up really liking the way it looks together.
