I don't have much to add. #61 is a beautiful doll, mine came with a thinnish wig that I am considering exchanging. Her hair is very similar in color to my 93-94 Felicity. Felicity's has faded a little pinkish, but mostly ok. Comparison pic, (bodyless)Felicity on left, #61 on right: www.flickr.com/photos/81528134@N07/14551477362/in/set-72157645455502842 Felicity's head is in the shadow, but the ponytails are pretty accurate.

Sorry that I don't have pictures, but I wanted to share that this is a great piece of furniture - very versatile. It's wood and this particular pink color will coordinate well with many existing MyAG furniture pieces. It is a good size and could easily be a small chest of drawers or credenza. It has three nice size drawers for storage. I love the orange vase and flowers that come with it. The flowers appear to be Gerber daisies in pink, red, yellow and orange. The clock is the same as the one that came with McKenna's loftbed set only yellow so nothing new about it. The three postcards are cute but again, similar to those in other sets. All in all, I give the set an A- because they could have come up with a different clock or perhaps another phone, or small television.
Starry Clip Hangers Item# F5327 Your girl can organize her doll's wardrobe with these three handy hangers. Each one has a bottom clip to secure hard-to-hang skirts and pants, plus contours to keep tops and dresses from slipping. $8
Pros: Very easy to use. Cons: Take up WAY too much room. Unless you have unlimited hanging space, skip these. I thought they would be really cool, but it's so much easier to just put pants and skirts either in a separate bin or drawer or through the little slit in the regular hangers.
Overall: C Would have been lower, but I can't deny that they are easy to use if that's what you're going for.
Charm-Keeper Necklace for Dolls Item# F8676 Your girl can express her My American Girl® doll's unique personality! This necklace features a metal pendant adorned with a translucent star and American Girl® logo tag that hang on an adjustable pink cord. She can simply slide each charm onto the pendant to capture her doll's one-of-a-kind character! $8
I was really excited to get my charm keeper necklace in a craigslist lot! I had been accruing lots of those little charms but, having no MyAG doll, had no place to put them! I think it's awesome that they started selling the necklace by itself!
The necklace is made up of a pink cord and a silver circle with a translucent star hanging in the middle.
The silver circle opens easily to put charms on.
Here's a full necklace. I can fit about 20 charms on one.
The pink cord is also adjustable by pulling on the two knots at the top.
Overall: A- I'm glad I have one to put all of my charms on! I'm not a huge fan of the whole charm concept itself, but the necklace is cool to put them on. Unfortunately, I can't fit all of my charms on a single one even though I don't even have any duplicates. It kind of bugs me. I wish they'd made something all of the charms would fit on. But I guess that's my collector mentality - wanting to collect one of each.
Spa Chair Item# F5355 She can treat her doll to a spa day! Just like the real thing, this padded spa chair tips back so she can "wash" her doll's hair with the pull-out sprayer, or give her a pedicure in the foot bath. The faucet and footbath make bubbly water sounds! Set also includes:
A faux bottle of shampoo A bottle of pretend spa salts Make-believe nail polish bottles An embroidered bath towel Three sheets of nail stickers A mini magazine for her doll to read while she enjoys salon treatments
This was purchased for my 8 y.o. daughter in December of 2013. Unfortunately she's already misplaced a few of the accessories, but you can see how this item has held up after 6 months of real-girl play.
The chair is made of nice heavy weight, durable plastic and has a substantial feel to it. It has a non-slip bottom as well so it stays in place during play. The seat is topped with padded vinyl.
The seat tips forward for a soak in the foot bath or backward for a hair wash. The velcro strap secures the doll into the seat, otherwise she'd slip down with the chair is in the forward position. I am using a plastic band to secure the spray nozzle in Cécile's hand.
The foot bath has non-working "buttons". The silver lever moves back and forth, but doesn't appear to do anything else. AG's description says that the foot bath makes bubbly sounds, but the button for the bubbly sounds is actually on the chair (turquoise button pictured under the left arm rest) and the sound emanates from underneath the sink portion of the chair. They are very nice bubbly sounds though! The foot bath also has a drain with real holes in the bottom, so it would be impossible to actually fill with water, which is probably a very good thing.
The sink portion features a sprayer that pulls out on red plastic tubing. The sink nozzle turns and produce a running water sound effect. The drain pictured is also a 'real' drain and would prevent the sink from actually holding water.
As I mentioned, my daughter has misplaced some of the accessories (the towel, a bottle of nail polish, and the stickers), but the ones she found are very nice quality and well made. None of the tops open. The Doll Style magazine has 8 pages including the front and back cover and has cute "articles" and "ads" that you can read if you have a magnifying glass or young eyes.
The price is pretty steep at $110 but it is a quality piece. I would say this has moderate play value for a child, particularly if your child is interested in pretend salon.
Overall, I would rate this item B+, with the biggest "con" that it is slightly overpriced. If it was $85, I'd give it a solid A.
Steph's Girls: Avery (#55), Kanani, Caroline, Kaya, PC Addy, Taryn (#44), Saige, & Meggie (fka Cécile), and #58 (needs a name!). DD9's Girls: Kathrine (#23), McKenna, Saige, & Isabelle
I couldn't resist this set! It is so very colorful, and well made, too. It reminded me a lot of last year's Easy Breezy outfit, which I also love, but I feel there is even more value to this outfit for what you pay ($28 retail as of June 2014). I love the flow-y ruffles on the lovely yellow shirt, and also appreciate that the design at the neckline is embroidered and incorporates little faceted plastic turquoise "stones" that are sewn into the pattern. The shorts have a great, colorful print, and open at the fly with velcro. There are two side pockets. The melon orange flip flops are my favorite, with foam bottoms and textured straps that look like miniatures of the real things. Three round yellow beads embellish each strap, and they are sewed to the plastic with heavy duty thread, so they're not going to come off easily. There is an elastic band that goes across the doll's foot to hold each flip flop on, and they stay on very well (rough play will cause them to fall off eventually, thought.)
Bottom Line: A+. This is a great modern outfit, and makes me smile every time I see Cat wearing it this summer. I only wish that maybe they could have brought the price up to $34 and thrown in the matching accessories that currently sell separately for $24; almost the same price as the outfit itself. I love the hat and bag, but can't bring myself to go for it all. The Sunny Isle definitely can stand well on it's own.
School Backpack Set Item# F5289 This smart set has everything My American Girl® dolls need for back-to-school. It includes: A backpack that features two side pouches, a front zippered pocket, and a screen-printed American Girl logo A colorful notebook with lined pages for taking notes A mini math textbook so she can study up Three pretend mechanical pencils A faux water bottle with flower graphics $28
Backpack: C The colors weren't horrible, but the quality was rough. I've already sold it, so I don't have a photo.
Notebook: A Very cute little notebook! I love the colors & that the paper inside is really lined!
Mini Math Textbook: A This little textbook caused quite an uproar from anti-common core crowds and ultimately caused the early retirement of the set. I personally think the cover is cute and I love that there are actual textbook pages inside!
Mechanical Pencils: A So cute! Love the bright, happy colors!
Water Bottle: A Again, very cute and I love the bright colors!
Overall: B+ The set has some adorable pieces but just missed the mark. The backpack was sub-par quality, and the controversy over the textbook sunk it.

Dreamy Bedding Item# W0573 Inspire sweet dreams with this bright bedding! It's made to match the Dreamy Daybed, featuring two cotton sheets for the bed and trundle, two printed bed pillows, a floral throw pillow, and a reversible comforter with a blooming butterfly design on one side and multicolored stripes on the other. $34
LOVE these colors!!! Great bedding! It looks wonderful in Kanani's room! My only complaint would be that it's not as soft as I'd like. It's just rather stiff. I think washing it may help, but I haven't gotten around to that yet.
Cadet Cap for Dolls Item# F5131 American Girl® dolls can add a pop of color to any outfit with this cap, featuring an embroidered American Girl® logo, a curved brim, and tab details on the sides. Cotton. Imported. Berry. One size. $8
Cute item and fits very well. It's easy to get on & it stays on pretty well. My dolls don't end up wearing it very much, but when they do, it looks great!
Purple Espadrilles Item# F5323 My American Girl® dolls will be all set for sunny days with these sandals! They feature woven soles and bows at the toes. $14
Just like all other AG shoes, these are cute but pricey. I do think they're a bit more worth it than others, just because they are a more intricate style. I love the espadrille look & the purple color. One shoe does have one of the annoying long tags, but luckily it stays pretty flat so it's not a huge issue.
My biggest problem with these shoes is getting them on. I alway end up having to contort my doll to get them to slip over her heel. Maybe I'm just challenged, but I definitely wouldn't give them to a young child. Frustration would be swift I think.
Polka-Dot Flats Item# F5319 These slip-on shoes add a sweet touch to any outfit. They're printed with pale pink dots, and feature ribbon-bow accents at the heels. $14
Honestly, I would not have purchased these if not for the adorable little bow on the side. Even then, they're pricey. They're pretty basic ballet flats. Easy on & off. Cute with a lot of the store exclusive pieces.
Purple Tank & Brief Set for Dolls Item# G1415 American Girl dolls can stay cool in this stretchy purple tank with an embroidered graphic at the chest. Matching briefs have a satin bow and elastic trim for easy wear. $10
I inherited these from a younger cousin when she was done with her AG dolls. I'm not a fan at all and these are currently in my To Sell pile. The set didn't hold up well to play at all. There is no velcro in the tank, so it has to go over the doll's head which stretches out the fabric. The purple color is nice, but I feel like it would show under a lot of shirts. I just don't see the need for the set at all really.
Fancy Ice Skates Item# G0284 These fancy white skates with gold laces and stitching detail are perfect for any ice-skating performance. Includes a pair of glittery skate guards. $16 (Later went on sale for $7)
Very cute skates. I like that they are pull-on and I don't have to worry about lacing anything.
The skate guards are clear with gold specks in them. They don't stay on the skates very well, so they usually stay in the box because I'm afraid of losing one.
I received this as a gift when I was target-aged, and I really liked it, but I never got a ton of use out of it. For one, it is rather large, and I always found it hard to get things in it.
The handle does actually go up a bit which is kind of cool.
The front park zips off to become a backpack for the doll, which was cool, but as a target-aged girl, I could never zip it back on without help (and I still find it tricky today).
The backpack can then hold your doll's doll (a mini doll).
Cute concept and it was cute that it coordinated with a girl's product, but I never loved it or used it much. Now I keep it just for nostalgia. I much, MUCH prefer the 2010 Suitcase. It a bit smaller and more manageable and so much easier to use!

Fun & Games Table Item# F3607 Get set for giggles and girl time with this fun set! It includes: A table set low to the floor—perfect for playing games! A checkers board and 24 pink and gray checkers your girl can really play with, plus game instructions that store inside the game box Pretend snacks and supplies for sharing: a nacho plate, two wild-berry drinks, and two paper napkins W: 8.75" x H: 3.25" x D: 8.75" (US) W: 22.2 cm x H: 8.3 cm x D: 22.3 cm (metric) $58
I purchased this set at AGP NY and I love it! It is perfect for me, because I wanted a nice table for display, but I don't have room for a full-sized dining table set.
Table: A Pros: Love it! Great size & very heavy! It is plastic, but the quality is still very high! The legs are metal. Cons: Not a huge fan of the star graphic on the tabletop.
Checkers Set: A Pros: Adorable!! I love doll-sized games! I love that the checkers aren't stuck to the board or anything! Cons: Because the checkers aren't stuck to the board, they would be very, very easy to lose.
Wild-Berry Drinks: A Pros: So cute! Love them! Cons: None!
I never took the napkins out of the package, so I can't really comment on those. They looked pretty standard. I really hated the "nachos" that the set came with, so those have already been sold. I prefer the popcorn from the Sleepover Set.
Overall: A+ Perfect for my needs! I love it! I did opt not to get the coordinating chair though because of the obscene price. I instead purchased an adorable bean bag chair on etsy that works perfectly with the table!
Garden Robe & Pillow for Dolls Item# F0826 My American Girl® dolls will be wrapped up in comfort with this set: A plush hooded robe embroidered with a cherry blossom branch, and featuring a pink ribbon bow at the waist A sweet butterfly-shaped pillow for a good night's sleep Includes a "Confident" rectangle charm for the doll's charm-keeper necklace $24
I purchased this for the pillow to go with my Dreamy Daybed set and have since sold the robe. The robe was incredibly soft and I was tempted to keep it, but ultimately I didn't really have a use for it. Since I no longer have the robe, I'll just review the pillow.
Pillow: A Pros: So cute! I love shaped pillows! And it looks perfect with the Dreamy Daybed bedding and pillows! Cons: I hate having to buy a whole other set to get one pillow. It also has an annoying long tag.
Puffy Jacket for Dolls + Charm Item# F6157 Dolls can stay warm on winter days in this puffy jacket! It features a zip-front, contrast stitching, and an embroidered Inner Star. Includes sweater-knit fingerless gloves with star embroidery, plus a "Proud" round charm. $24
I hesitated to buy this because of the price, but I fell in love with the coordinating Frosty Fair Isle Set and wanted this set to complete the look.
Jacket: A Pros: Actually very thick and quite well-made. It's a smooth, shiny material. Great color & fits over other shirts fairly easily. Cons: A bit tight to get on over other shirts. Not hard, but it takes some wiggling. The price also seems a bit high.
Gloves: B Pros: I like coordinating pieces & they're very soft. Cons: Not really my style.
Overall: A Overall, I'm really glad I bought this set. I'm not normally a huge fan of doll jackets because I feel that they're too bulky, but this one manages to avoid that fate. Kanani always looks delightfully warm in it instead of like a marshmallow!

Double-Bow Dress for Dolls + Charm Item# F8142 Your girl can dress up her doll for a warm-weather celebration in this pretty outfit! It features: A cotton sateen dress with two satin bows at the tucked bodice and a full skirt Sling-back sandals A headband featuring a mesh pinwheel with a rhinestone center A "Kind" rectangle charm for the doll's charm-keeper necklace $30
When I first saw this dress, I was very much "meh", but then the 4-year-old I nanny got the dress for her doll & the matching dress for her and it was just beyond adorable!! I purchased it so I'd always remember how adorable she looked. My McKenna claimed it and it looks lovely with her eyes!
Dress: B+ Pros: Lovely color & easy to get on Cons: A bit on the thin/cheap side
Sandals: B Pros: Same lovely color & also easy to get on Cons: Not crazy about the style
Headband: A Pros: I LOVE doll headbands! This one is no exception. It's adorable!! Cons: That dumb long tag. Mine has already been snipped off.
Overall: B+ This dress is really cute but not outstanding for me. I wouldn't have purchased it if not for the little one I nanny.

I received this set at the June 28th Chicago Cubs vs. Washington Nationals game at Wrigley Field, at which the set was a free giveaway. From what I can tell, this jacket and hat set is very similar to the earlier giveaway edition from 2006 (although I don't have that set for comparison), only it has a blue hat brim instead of red, and blue buttons on the jacket instead of red. Although the jacket was a little stiff because of a quilted lining, it is nevertheless absolutely adorable, Here are some pictures of the set.
It came in a sealed plastic bag with a jacket, baseball hat, catalog subscription advertisement, and a coupon for another free set when you present the coupon after spending $50 at AGP. (Smart marketing, AG!)
Here is my Anna modeling the jacket and hat.
A better view of the hat.
Embroidery on back of both the jacket and the hat.
Overall, this is a wonderful set, and two of my new favorite pieces.

Here is a quick video review I did of #61. It's a quick review, sorry for some off centered filming at times Hopefully this will help some people decide in favor of this beautiful doll.
If you look for truth, you may find comfort in the end; if you look for comfort you will not get either comfort or truth only soft soap and wishful thinking to begin, and in the end, despair. - C.S. Lewis
Talk about cute! I've named my corgi "Carmel" to stick with the old food names. It's a very hard body (like the old Meatloaf, but a lot softer) but can move! Which I think it pretty neat. And has the new magnet mouth, comes with a bone and an embroidered star on the back left foot. (All of the dogs come with the same bone) I give the Corgi an A+. ETA: Please note that the "Corgi Puppy" only comes with the Corgi puppy and the bone. The Leash and Collar were bought separately for $12.
Coconut Cutie Outfit for Dolls + Charm Item# G0606 Let your girl's doll show her pet-savvy style! This outfit includes: A cute tee featuring a Coconut™ graphic with foil-print glasses, a real ribbon bow, and a glittery message A coral skirt with rosettes and a mesh overlay Shoes with crisscross straps Two bow-shaped barrettes A round "Confident" charm
I purchased this on the day after the release, June 27, 2014 at the DC store.
This outfit totally won me over, it is so cute and versatile. It contains many pieces that will work for mix and match, especially with some of the other new releases especially the Bright Stripes Outfit.
On my Saige
Back view on doll
All the items that come with the outfit minus the charm. The barrettes are a light purple and a dark pink.
The shirt is so cute because it has the 3D bow on coconuts head. It is a light blue grosgrain ribbon. The words and Coconut's glasses are metallic and catch the light and sparkle. Closes in back with the older style velcrol
The skirt is coral and has 7 flowers made out of the same material. The waist band has elastic and just slips on the doll.
The shoes are a floral print with coral ribbons that criss cross over the dolls feet. the colors in the flowers on the shoes are light blue, yellow, white and a purple/pink on a black background. These are flats.
With the jacket from the new Bright Stripes Outfit.
With the sweater from the Flower Sweater and Skirt outfit.
I give this outfit an A+. Honestly, there isn't any part of the outfit that I don't like. The only slightest complaint that I could make is the older style velcro on the tee shirt, but AG almost always uses it on tees.
Bonnet: LOVE this! Very high quality construction and flowers. Very pretty colors and ribbon. I like that you can do a big bow (hint: right over left then left over right to get it to lay flat). Grade: A+
Top: Cute idea that you (person) can play with it too. I think it's real wood. Grade: A
Bag: Pretty colors/design, thick fabric. I like that it has her name at the top, and that it's actually embroidered. Grade: A
Caroline was a bit of an impulse buy for me as I was not a fan of hers for a long time, but it was love at first sight with my particular doll, for me as well.
Doll: Her curls are amazing! I also love her eye color and I think it is the closest to mine yet. My doll has a very thick wig and her curls looked perfect right out of the box. Overall - love her. I was worried she would look too similar to some of my other dolls, butI think her curls make her stand out.
Meet Dress: Her dress is simple but pretty. It's made of a light cotton, not too thin. I like the darker pink ruffles at the neck and sleeves. However, I am still struck by how similar it is to Felicity's Summer Dress, and honestly the only reason I'm keeping it right now (since I already have the Felicity dress) is so I have something to match her Meet bonnet. Grade: C+/B- for unoriginality
Rest of Meet Outfit: The shoes are simple pink ballet flats. They are functional and match the dress, but nothing special (Grade: B). She also has socks and pantalettes which seem to have a fine quality and could be used with her other outfits (Grade: A).
