I also bought Molly's pajama's and think they are absolutely darling!! They are so "40"s, and I should know!! They fit perfectly, and the little pockets have elastic tops that are gathered. The print is out of the 40's too. They velcro in the back, and are very crisp and fresh looking. I,for one, think Molly would love them. You can't have just one pair of pajamas!
The slippers are a cute touch, go perfectly with the pajamas and give Molly a little bit of Hollywood "glamour"!
I too wondered how a little girl would feel with them on, since the material is a VERY thick and crisp broadcloth, almost too heavy to sleep in. A doll wouldn't matter, but if they do soften up after washing, then that would help tremendously. With their thickness, they should last for years and years!!

Garnet is a great addition. She's soft and huggable, but doesn't quite stand upright without a little help. Her eyes look a little angry, but with some work I've gotten them to open up a bit more and give her a sweeter look. A-

I am very pleased they made Caroline's work dress. It's nice to have something a little more practical for her wardrobe. The dress is well-made with the design going all the way around. The cap is cute, and fits well enough that I don't think the ribbon to tie it on the doll is necessary. The boots are very well made and a neutral color, so they'd probably work well with other outfits. Caroline looks adorable, A+

I,too, bought a pair of these, in fact two pairs. Though, it will take work, and the ends are unfinished, there is enough fabric at the end to make these into full length pants if one wishes. I 'm going to do that with one of mine. As opposed to the cream colored capris that are still being sold at the store, the ones that have the red and white sash, these are a snow white. I think they will make a nice mix and match item for my dolls.

These came out with the February 2013 release. I think they were $12. They're very cute white pants. They're a nice heavy twill. The ankle length is a little funny, and I wish they could be un-cuffed, but the cuff is sewn down and the ends aren't finished. Normally I like it when AG has real pockets, but in the case of white pants I think fake pockets would have been better so they don't show through (something I look for in human white pants too). I used my chubbiest doll as a fit model and they're snug on her, but I've seen much worse. They looked fairly loose on the dolls in the store. Grade: B

There seem to be two versions of this shirt - one oversized, and the other cut more like the recent tees.

Price: $94 Description from AG: A cheerful way for girls to perk up Molly and Emily's bedroom, this set includes: -A bright-yellow bed that features turned-wood spindles, a style popular in 1944 -A pretty yellow bedspread with a dainty lattice print -A soft pillow and a plush mattress I purchased Molly's new bed while at American Girl Place today. I hadn't planned on purchasing so quickly, but it is just so charming that I could not leave the store without it. It's packaged in a cardboard box as most AG beds are, not the typical red star packaging that contains clothes/accessories. As soon as I got home I rearranged one of my doll rooms and assembled this bed. I could not be happier with it! While the stock photo makes the bed look bright yellow it is more subtle than that. Despite the coverlet being a similar shade, it really goes well with the frame. This bed is sturdy and well designed, overall I recommend it. It gets an A from me! Pictures:

I'm not sure if a question should go in the review section, but I couldn't figure out where else to post it. I recently bought an older Coconut with the magnetic mouth because I thought that was the only way he could hold stuff, but I was looking at some pics on here & it looks like new coconut has a slit/mouth that opens. Does he? Can the newer pups hold things too? What about the other pets? No, the newer Coconut, Licorice and any of the other AG Pets cannot hold nor play with their toys. Only the retired Coconut & Licorice had the magnetic mouth. No, there is no slit nor opening in his mouth to hold anything.

The dress is beautiful! I purchased it with an AG giftcard the day it came out! The lace, pink and white, just SCREAMS girly! {I think totally Becca's style!}. The dress is white with big pieces of lace, it is a tad bit see thru, but not really. Depends on what angle you look at it. It is very thin, but a classy thin. LOL The ribbon is ribbon! Just plain old pink! The shoes are pretty! BUT they make it hard to stand! Same with hibernian, I think that all of the outfits need to come with tights, are at least high socks, etc. VERY CUTE though! And well worth it!

More pictures! Slippers: These are basically heeled slip-on shoes. I think they are strange for slippers (I sold them) but potentially great for modern spring shoes... If you don't mind the heels. My poor googley-eyed Marie-Grace in her nightgown, before her eye swap: The nightgown is lovely. Love the sweet detailing of the fabric, though the pair of bows seems a little over the top.

I co-worker purchased this doll for her grand daughter's birthday and was kind enough to bring her into work so that I could see her and write a review for the board. This is a lovely doll. The eyes are a very realistic blue-gray color that I have seen with many real babies. The hair is a light auburn and the lashes are a slightly darker auburn. The coloring is delicate and realistic. The colors in the pink paisley sleeper are very flattering to her coloring. Of course she comes with Bitty Bear and the Welcome Bitty Baby Memory book which is similar to the baby book my parents kept for me, and has places for Bitty Baby's information as well as that of her new Mommy. My co-worker understandably did not want to remove Bitty Baby from her packaging, because she is to be a gift, so I did not actually get to hold her or check out the diaper. She bought the starter set which I will review, also. She said that she is tempted to get one for herself, because she is so adorable. Link to pictures Another picture

I got mine for Christmas, and it has the sharp pleats, which is the way I like it. I acutally got it for Molly, even though it is a modern outfit. It goes will with the 40's and I should know---I was a little girl then. It is adorable, that really is more than a school outfit, I would think more of a church outfit or special occasion dress. The quality is wonderful and the fit is perfect. The shoes and socks are easy to put on and complete the outfit. I give it an A+! I got this dress yesturday and I love it. The pleats are cute love the flower and shoes ,socks and barrett. My doll Rebecca is wearing it.

my daughter just bought this with her birthday money. I thought it was a little pricey (we got it at AGplace) and it was sale on the website. Anyways, she wanted it and is very happy. The skateboard is well made and looks like her real skateboard with the grip tape on it. The outfit has 3 pieces (green shirt, pink leggings and grey shorts). The colors are really bright and it looks cute on. The doll that my daughter bought this for however is a chubbier PM doll and the shorts and leggings could fit her a bit better in the 'coverage' department.. I love the skate sneakers too. The helmet and pads aren't included in this set but we have them from the inline skate set. There is an elastic strap on the board to hold your doll on. We have had better luck with balancing when we only put one foot under the strap.

I really love her meet outfit. The skirt is made with a really nice fabric. Not too thick and not too thin, lined with fabric and falls nicely on Jess. The halter top is embroidered with pretty flowers and closes with velcro. Again the fabric is really nice. I wasn't fond of the colour combination at first but it has grown on me. Bright and breezy it is. I like her sandals very much. They fit well and stay on because of a strap in the back. Her underwear fits well and has a pretty butterfly printed on one side. A+

Sweater: I received my Molly doll along with her Meet outfit for Christmas in 2012 so I think the sweater must've changed a little over the past couple years. Mine is not a pullover, it opens and closes in the back with the new softer velcro. Either way I really like the bright design of the sweater and how soft it is it seems to have a lot of mix and match potential. It looks adorable with the dickey underneath but looks just as nice without it. A+Dickey: It probably isn't going to be used too much with other outfits but it does look good with the Meet outfit's sweater. Just wish it didn't curl up so much, it's kind of hard to keep folded down sometimes. A-Skirt: This has to be one of my favorite parts, if not my favorite part, of the whole outfit! It seems to be the right length and the right cut for a girl growing up in the 1940s, and it's such a lovely navy color. It can easily be mixed into other outfits. It's one thing that makes me wish sometimes that there was a white blouse included in the outfit instead of just a dickey because I can imagine how nicely it along with the skirt would look by themselves; it would probably make for a nice school uniform for other dolls. The material seems high quality. I'm not completely sure if it's 100% wool or a wool blend but it certainly isn't just felt. A+Bloomers: I'm not totally sure if these kind of bloomers were still being worn around Molly's time, but they're quite cute. They're puffy enough that they obviously wouldn't do well with pants, but they work just fine under her dresses, at least from her time and further back. ASocks: Nice, fairly thick white cotton bobby socks. That's about it. A
Shoes: Ugh! What were they thinking when they gave poor Molly these fail-tastic rubber/plastic shoes? They look okay, but they didn't come off of her feet easily. I don't think I'm going to even try putting them back on. I mean, I do have one Bitty Baby outfit that includes plastic shoes but those are actually fairly easy to put on and take off. These, though, look like they'd be an unnecessarily long struggle. I noticed that in Molly's separate Socks and Shoes set that she has patent leather Mary Janes that snap open and closed. Could these shoes and Samantha's been why those sets were created? xD F+ (the plus is being nice since the Meet outfit does require some kind of shoes) Overall rating for the outfit: A- or A

This is one of my most recent AG purchases (actually a gift) so I figured of all the stuff I have to review, I'll review Molly first.
I received Molly for Christmas 2012 so I've had her for a little over a month or so now. I can't believe it took me so long to get her, she was always one of the dolls I wanted the most. Well now that I finally have her, I can say that the wait was well worth it!
Molly may appear kind of plain or even a bit mousy on the pages of the catalog but once you bring her home and get her out of her box, she looks soooo much cuter and prettier IRL. One of the first things that attracted me to her was her eyes. They are such a soft, lovely shade of gray! Some Molly dolls may have more of a green or blue tint to their eyes, but mine are about as pure of a gray as you can get. I really wish there were more dolls with this eye color. The only other gray eyed doll AG still currently produces is Ruthie and I have every intention of getting her, too.
Her hair is very beautiful too, and appears to be pretty easy to care for. My Molly's braids were very neat and orderly and I only undid the braids just a couple of days ago. I was going to brush her hair but the waves that her braids make are so pretty that I decided to wait on brushing her hair. When I do brush her hair I shouldn't have too much trouble though, I didn't feel where it would tangle easily while I fluffed her hair out after I undid the braids.
She has a very sweet face and I love her little glasses. Did they change the shape of her glasses again? I know that most newer Molly dolls don't have perfectly round glasses, but aside from the nose piece still not curving up and having more of a natural shape, my doll's glasses are almost perfectly Harry Potter round in the frames. Either way, they're adorable and they have a nice snug fit on my doll too. I also like that there was a case for the glasses included even if you can't use it to wipe them clean.
There is a separate section to review the Meet outfit so I'll post my opinions on that later in that thread.
Overall though, I give Miss Molly an A+! I'll try to update later with a couple pictures of her.

I can't believe I paid $18 just to get 'baby' coconut but my daughter is HUGE into the AG pets and when I saw this we needed it. I didn't get the pajamas since we have many already. The tiny coconut is adorable and given how much my daughter enjoys it, I'm over the $18 LOL. Plus the slippers are really nice and stay on better than some of our other slippers. The headband is the only piece we just really don't use. Here Elizabeth is all snuggled in with her new puppy.

Caroline's bed arrived yesterday and it is gorgeous!! My 10yo DD and I put it together fairly quickly and it was easy. The reviews on the website had me worried about it being difficult, but it was probably the easiest thing I've ever put together!
The canopy isn't attached and does slip out of place easily, but not enough to be a problem.
I give this bed an A+ :-)

Sorry about the lighting. It's the best I can do in my "doll room" which isn't that bright, so I have to use flash. My Mia has had her hair redone at AG. I got her used on eBay.

Here's a picture on an 18" doll. The pants have an elastic waist. The sweater opens all the way down the back with Velcro. The shoes were a tight fit and I didn't want to force them since I have to return this for a flaw in the knit of the sweater. Guess I should have checked the box before leaving the store. Hope this helps.

I have always thought this was a cute set, but I didn't want to pay so much for just the top and skirt. I ended up ordering while on spotlight, and although it's a better deal I wish they had ribbons or something included. I guess I will have to go buy some ribbon to match.
My first impression when I pulled out the outfit was that it is much nicer than I expected. I was pleasantly surprised that it feels more like cotton than any other NOLA outfit I have encountered. The skirt is also much fuller than I thought. The fabric seems a little faded to me, but it is a pretty color/print. I haven't had a chance to try it on, but it seems less skimpy than many other outfits I have recently gotten.
I am glad I bought this, but would think hard before paying full price-it really needs an accessory to make it worth full price. Grade A

Felicity was my first doll I ever got, and she is so cute. I love her hair color, it's very shiny and feels soft. I wish she came with the Rose Garden dress, but I like the Traveling Gown just the same. I love the shoes she comes with, they look true to the time period and are nicely done. I wish that AG made Felicity with the new green eyes, or at least I think that it would be neat to see. She's also a really nice modern girl, she looks good in Saige's Sweater Outfit. I give my Felicity an A+++
