As I recently rediscovered this outfit among my things, I thought I'd Lederhosen a review. I was given this outfit when I was around 11 years old in 2000-2001, IIRC. I wore it absolutely everywhere at the time, and have wonderful memories of walking through my hometown proudly matching my Molly doll. (Still searching for actual photos of the two of us... ) All pieces are size 10(M), and still (mostly) fit me now; I'm 24 years old, 5'1.
The sweater is still comfortably roomy on me, particularly around the sleeves: they are long enough to reach my wrists, and it's surprisingly warm. I think the style is classic enough that it could still be worn as a mix-n-match piece with jeans today.
The blouse has ribbing around the peter pan collar. The puffed sleeves close with buttons at the cuffs. They don't quite reach my wrists anymore, and the blouse is tight around the neck if buttoned all the way up, but still fits comfortably enough.
A lovely thick material, this skirt is wonderfully swishy. (A bit tight around my 29" waist, and the zipper doesn't quite close all the way... ah, the inconveniences of growing up :D)
As the beret is 100% wool, it tends to pill/attract lint, and also shrink in the washing machine, so I would recommend hand-washing this item. It's cute anyway.
