My lovely Whitney (#58) models the Sparkle Sequin Outfit for us: s914.photobucket.com/user/starwenn/media/Welcome%20Whitney/DSCI0374_zps393b1c70.jpg.htmlI bought this one mainly because it comes with so many pieces. That and I'm a sucker for poofy skirts. The skirt is dark pinkish lace with an underskirt of satiny material trimmed with stiff net. It stands out quite adorably on the doll, almost like a tutu. The waist is made of the same satin. The sequin collar on the otherwise simple blouse is light felt sewn with tiny circular sequins that catch the light. It seems a little flimsy, but those sequins do sparkle quite prettily. The blouse was a tight fit on Whitney - it probably won't work with PM dolls. I didn't try the barrette on Whitney until after I took that photo. It's three chunky plastic "stones" with a metal closure. I was impressed not only with how substantial and heavy the barrette is, but how much of Whitney's curly mop it held. It looks really cute on her, very sophisticated. I didn't try the shoes on her because it's definitely not sandals weather here at the moment. They're pink faux-leather sandals and seem to be well-made. Overall, this is a good bargain for the current price ($30) because of all the pieces if you have a Mattel doll in need of a fancy winter/spring outfit.

The only reason I got this was because it went on sale in December 2014 for $15. It's a good price for that. But wouldn't mind paying the current price as it looks nicer than a lot of the current outfits and includes good shoes.
The skirt is poofy and made of a nice mix of materials. Looks cute. The shirt is simple with the sequins on a bib type thing attached at the top. I worry about them getting mixed up in hair. The shoes are great and well made. Plain design and neutral purple so can mix and match. The barrette is heavy metal, but need to shift it around a little to stay.
I've realised I do not like outfits with white shirts on blonde dolls. It washes out their color. Saige gets this one.

I was hesitant to buy this outfit, but it was I. Sale for $18 so I decided to give it a shot.
I regret that. The shirt is tight. Since the sparkles aren't completely attracted to the short, the like to flap up, which gives the appearance that your doll is wearing a bib. Not flattering! The skirt, also ill-fitting, is wayyyyy too short. The shoes are cite, no complaints there.
