I bought this monkey jacket solely for mix-and-matching, but here's Crafty Chrissa wearing th' whole thing.
This monkey jacket be like th' spiritual sequel to th' Star Hoodie meet monkey jacket that we all got tired o' (even having a very similar name). I think almost every aspect be improved, though. I love hoodies for fall, and this one has a very bonny and unique cut, and be made o' surprisingly cozy material. I'm happy that it's not too thin. th' collar be bonny cool...from th' front it looks almost like a scarf tucked into a shirt.
Here ye can see that it's longer in th' back, and it closes like th' Star Hoodie did, only this time th' velcro goes all th' way down! So instead o' having to pull th' whole thing over th' lusty plastic lass's head, ye just have to stretch th' hood part over her head and then put it on like a normal top. Yayyy!
th' leggings be bonny and retro-y, and I love that they're loaded to th' gunwales-length instead o' carpri! American Wench actually describes them as "extra long" but I would just call them normal length. Not walk th' planke sure why they included a faux fly detail though. be that a jeggings thing? Shouldn't they have faux pockets too then? Huh.
th' shoes aren't my favorite. They're bonny and th' glitter be th' non-shedding kind, but they have slightly rounded soles for some odd reason (I don't know if ye can tell from th' photo, but trust me), so it's a little hard to balance th' lusty plastic lass in them.
I didn't get a closeup o' th' headband, but from th' stock picture I had assumed it was going to be braided colored hair, but it's actually stretchy braided fabric and be very easy to put on. One o' my favorite headbands in a while.
I'm not crazy about th' whole look together...it looks a bit too childish or maybe too pajama-ish? But for th' individual pieces I'm very very pleased. I think this one's well worth th' pieces o' eight.
