Rebecca has been released wearing this second version of her Meet Outfit since her BeForever revamp in August 2014. She wears this outfit on the cover of the BeForever book, The Sound of Applause.
She comes in an authentic 1914 outfit: A white dress with a pleated plum herringbone skirt A pretty purple bouclé jacket with a velvet sash, faux pearl buttons, and crisp white collar and cuffs Black tights Cute white bloomers Matching purple shoes with faux-pearl buttons A shiny golden barrette to set off her curlsRebecca loves making people smile when she steps onstage in this beautiful purple dress and jacket! $36 I give this outfit an A: Here is Beckie all dressed up. The outfit fits well over her tushie, the old meet outfit was kind of hard to get over her tushie and she can move her arms up well. Her gold barrette did not come with the separate meet outfit. The shirt is attached to a white tank which is the same as her school outfit. The tights and panties are similar to her old meet outfit tights and panties. The shoes are a burgundy velvet, they are cute, but I am not a fan of colored shoes with black tights. They close with Velcro The jacket is a tweed fabric and the collar and cuffs are cotton, the bow is velvet. The jacket closes with Velcro. The old meet accessories look good with this outfit:

I don't have much to add. I love this outfit. The bright color works well with the texture of the fabric--I would call the jacket tweed, but I'm not a fabric expert by any means. The weave has a mixture of pink and purple thread, the bow is a luxurious deep purple velvet, and the buttons are pink with gold settings. They seem to push it a little over the top; I think a pretty antiqued gold button would have looked nicer and more authentic. PLEASE BE WARNED! The jacket has a front velcro closure that tends to stick to the wooly texture of the jacket very easily. It will pull on the fabric and make it fuzzy. Overall, a B. I would like it more if the skirt and under blouse weren't attached. Making the outfit into 3 separates would have added a lot more mix and match play value. And I really don't like that velcro. It's going to make me super nervous all the time. I too think that the old meet hat looks nice with this and helps to desaturate it a little: I like it with her old straw hat from the purple summer outfit, too: *mod edit to remove dead image links

Rebecca's Outfit Item# BKF10 Rebecca loves making people smile when she steps onstage in this beautiful purple dress and jacket! This authentic 1914 outfit includes: A plum dress with a pleated herringbone skirt A pretty purple boucle jacket with a velvet sash, faux-pearl buttons, and crisp white collar and cuffs Soft black tights Ruffled white bloomers Purple velvet shoes with pearly buttons A shiny golden barrette to hold back her curls $36
Dress & Jacket - A+ Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! I had only a mild interest in Rebecca pre-beforever, but when I saw her in this meet in person.. WOW! I hadn't planned on buying another doll, but I just couldn't resist her in this meet! The dress & jacket are a gorgeous color, and the fabric is nice and thick and is a wonderful texture. I don't really mind at all that the skirt is attached to the white top; I most likely wouldn't mix and match this set anyway. My only tiny complaint is the use of the rough velcro on the jacket. I think they should have used the softer velcro. The white fabric on the cuffs & collar has a delightful faint polka dot pattern!
Tights: A Simple black tights.
Bloomers: A Basic white bloomers.
Shoes: B Love the color and the style and the velvet texture, but I wouldn't have said no to some cute boots.. Also, one of the straps on my shoes has already started to shed slightly. I'm not sure how well they will stand up to large amounts of play.
Barrette: A Since I purchased the doll and not just the meet outfit by itself, I did get the gold meet barrette. It's cute, but seems a bit flimsy. I was slightly afraid that I was going to break it putting it back in her hair.
Overall: A+ Despite my slight concerns about the shoes, this is still a stunning outfit. I love it! The new meet definitely worked on me; I bought Rebecca! Haha!

Adding a few recent pictures of the meet outfit - I would rate in on par in quality with her old school outfit in terms of pieces and quality. While the meets are all a but expensive at $36 a piece, this is one that actually makes the $36 price seem alright. My ribbon did come folded a bit inside the box, but I am sure it will smooth out over time.
