Grace's Baking Outfit for Dolls This outfit includes: A blue tee with a swirly cupcake print and three-quarter sleeves A black knit apron dress with a pink dotted print, a pink waistband, and striped bow accents Pink knit leggings Blue ballet-flat shoes with black cord bows A knotted pink elastic headbandI love everything about this outfit. The details are spot on--the embroidered heart, which could be overly cutesy--is designed just right to be both sweet and classic. And the black-and-white striped "ribbon" bow at the waist is made of material that is stiff enough to keep its perky shape. The back of the "apron dress" or jumper-styled apron is extremely unique, but this pink bow detail can only be seen if the hair is styled up or to the side. The jumper straps attach at the waist with velcro. To dress the doll I had her step into the skirt portion and then pulled the ladder-like straps over her head--it was quite easy, but it is definitely more "dress" or "jumper" than apron in construction. These are the familiar usual ballet-flats style shoes, but the teal color is brilliant and the tiny bow detail just the right touch. The hairband is light pink and lightly elasticized. This outfit really is lovely for Grace's hair and eye coloring. I think it is one of the most adorable GOTY outfits ever designed. Overall grade: A+

I remember the sample photos having the cupcakes on her shirt upsidown, has anyone gotten the upsidown cupcake print yet? It was it just a stock photo error?

I just bought this outfit and like all of Grace's wardroble, love it. A bit pricey, I think, but I got it at about $5 off during the $10 off $50 sale, and feel that is a fair price for it.
The apron, IMO, is the mainstay of the this outfit. It's adorable, and certainly can be used as a stand alone jumper or even sundress. For those with children getting the outfit, some help might be needed to put it on the doll. If you unstrap it and pull them over her head, it's easy going, but if you just try to pull them over the doll's arms as I did, it's a tight fit, though it works. The apron alone makes this set, as it is an unusual one with an adorable back design that can even be worn as a front if the skirt theme doesn't bother you, for a whole other look. With its slightly flatred skirt and lots of detailing, this is an exquisite wardrobe piece and I give it an A+. I originally questioned AG's design of this, as it's neither apron nor jumper, but now having it right here, I can see that it's both and either. Fabric and workmanship top grade.
The leggings are...well, just leggings. One loose thread there, but the fabric used is thick. These are definitely leggings and not tights. They can be pulled down nearly to the ankles or pushed up as capris. The fabric quality is very good. Versatile, basic piece, and I give it an A, withholding the "plus" only because there really isn't anything special or unusual about it.
The 3/4 sleeve lengthed tee is a bit of a tight fit, to my surprise, since my model, Lindsay, is not one of my hefty girls. But it looks great, once its on the doll. Love the color and the print is cute. AG has made a number of tees in that shade of aqua, so the print was needed, IMO in order for it to be a standout piece. I give it an A as it is everything it should be and a bit more, but a little on the tight side for doll fit.
The shoes do tie the outfit togeter, but are nothing special. Just ballet flats in aqua with a tiny black bow on them. Look like some of the Bitty shoes I have. So it's a yawn and a B for me. They do fit the doll well.
The ribbon is a nice extra, and an extra it should have, at its $34 ask price. noting at all special about it. Can get those anywhere, I see them in packs at CVS all of the time, but this is a good fit for an AG doll's head and it makes for a nice finish to the outfit so I give it a B and appreciate that it was added to the set. It itself that's all it worth in a grade, but I would give a bump up since at least it was included.
The entire set is an "A" grade, IMO. It's a definite cut above the usual MyAG outfits. The apron is a standout, and it's as cute as can be on just about every doll. It will go to Grace, if I do end up getting her, but all of my modern dolls would look adorable in it.

This outfit is simply too cute for words! I really think that it is the cutest outfit American Girl has ever released, and also the most unique. I don't have a photo of it on an AG, however it does fit my Australian Girl Doll Matilda. It looks like it was made for her!

I really like this outfit. It's much easier to put on than I expected. There are small pieces of Velcro where the apron straps join the back of the skirt. My daughter loves the shoes.
We like the bow detail on back! Since the shirt and apron are separate, you can also pair it with a white or pink shirt and that's really cute as well!

Cute, but meh. This is not a super top outfit for me. The quality is pretty good, but the style is lacking. I would think I would enjoy the separates, but no. The shirt is tacky, you can't wear the leggings as pants without looking ridiculous, and the apron has to go over her head.

This outfit is quite cute to me. It like the aqua and pink combination and the cupcakes on the top are sweet as are the bows in the back. The shoes are adorable and go with other things.
