Samantha's Flower-Picking Set was a limited edition outfit introduced to Samantha's BeForever Collection in 2015. Retail cost was $48.
Set includes the following: Pink floral dress with lace collar and magenta ribbon sash Woven basket Five pink tulips Black stockings Boots Pink coat, one button is slightly loose Straw hat with magenta ribbon trim and pink carnations
I adore this dress! I feel like it is getting quite ignored on favor of Samantha's new day dress when really it is equally beautiful. The dress itself is well constructed. It is very pink, which is normally not my taste, but for some reason I just find it so lovely. The print size is attractive, but the best part is how modest and appropriate the style is!! That's really why I got it. I love the length of the skirt, the not so short sleeves, and the collar. The lace is a bit stiff but not a turn off for me. I think it is nice detail. I do wish the sash was untied, however. The hair now is sweet and matches the sash perfectly. I would prefer it were an actual ribbon and not a bow attached to a hair band as it tends to stick out instead of lie nicely next to the head. This outfit comes with standard black stocking. They are thick, which is nice. I would have much preferred they were black socks/thigh highs. Not a fan of the shoes. They simulate covered boots but appear too plasticky for my liking. I haven't put them on my doll as I plan to sell them. The buttons are nice, but fake as the boots actually Velcro up the back. I haven't opened the basket or flowers- I sold them in package. But the basket was very nice and sturdy. Compared to the other BF LE sets released alongside, this is a very good value. I absolutely love it!

I think that this dress is BEAUTIFUL, especially all of the trimmings that make it extra special (delicate lace! satin ribbon!) My Samantha just changed out of her Tea Dress, and the length on her Flower Picking Dress is a little longer than the Tea Dress length.
Samantha styled her Flower Picking dress with black button-up boots (stolen borrowed from Rebecca) and her BeForever Meet Accessory necklace and headband. I'm not completely sold on the boots that came with the outfit; although they will be easier to put on than her original High-Button shoes, they look slipper-like to me somehow! The black stockings that come in the set are super stretchy and smooth, and I'm a fan! The hairbow felt a little wimpy (again, coming out of her Tea Dress with the huge hand-tied hair bow) but I think her meet headband coordinates quite well, too.
I will have to add more photos of the set components, because the basket is particularly sweet, but even for the dress alone this set gets an A+++ from me!

This is a beautiful outfit. The Dress: The fabric is a rose pink with a nice floral print. The fit is good. The lace is beautiful. I like the ribbon sash. I am happy the outfit comes with a hair accessory. I love that everything is to scale.
The Shoes and Tights: These are the average AG items I already have.
The Basket and Flowers: This is a little disappointing for me. I would have liked a more realistic group of flowers. Overall Grade: A-

I missed out on some of last year's LE outfits and didn't want to do that again. I'm glad the price point was better. I paid retail for this. Initially I thought it was going to be pretty bland, but it's gorgeous! The box has a special LE 2015 sticker on it.
The longer length is beautiful on Sam. The lace is well done. The bow lays well. The shoes are at first sight, rather dull. But work well with the outfit. The close with velcro in the back. Be sure not to snag the tights, even if it is no-snag velcro. The tights are very smooth. I like the hair bow because it sits in Sam's hair properly, but I worry about the elastic in the ponytail holder. The basket is plastic molded like wicker. It is heavier than one thinks and my Sam, who has fairly tight limbs cannot hold it without her arms falling down. The flowers are all the same but stack nicely in the basket.
