The outfit comes in a large window box and several things need to be cut to remove it including threads holding the fingerless gloves and the clear plastic molded band that holds the shoes in place. The top and pants are held with hanger like cutouts in the cardboard inner box. Nice for display and to prevent removal at the store. Everything was visible through the window. I don't think I'll save the box for storage.
The outfit is well made, but I don't care for the style of the top with its "V" neck and high cut arm holes that show off her lighter than her vinyl body. The top closes with the snagging Velcro, so beware her hair and leggings when dressing or undressing. The leggings are cute with their line of sequins down the sides. The fingerless gloves were problematic until I magged the website photo and repositioned the seam line on the palmar side of of her thumbs. The shoes with their three inset elastics were easy to get on wrong with the relatively flexible vinyl folded under on either side of her heel. The headband already had some fraying along the margins. Taking it on and off will be another problem
All in all I give it a C+

I actually like this outfit a lot. Another one that seems well-designed to avoid Velcro snags. The pants pull on, and the fabric of the top is satin instead of knit, which should make it much more user friendly. The color is great for Gabby. The shoes are kind of basic, the smooth glitter vinyl in silver. The headband is the same stuff and does have little frays as the ends are unfinished. I am a sucker for a fingerless glove though, and these are sparkly!

We got this outfit on January 1st, it was chosen by my daughter she like the sequined top the most, as it has a full front of sequins.
Shirt is satin and has satin piping at the armholes and neck which does give it a nice finished look. The shirt has a Velcro closure that only goes about 2/3 of the way down the back, so it does sort of have an opening at the back, another inch of Velcro would be better.
The shoes that come with it are not very accurate (IMO) as to what young dancers are wearing today. The shoes are like any other shoe AG pairs with its outfits and silver sparkle is not realistic in terms of dance wear, however it goes with the outfit. We opted to get the tap shoes to pair with this outfit.
As for packaging, as this is for my daughter she could care less about the packaging, she did want me to help open it and remove from the box. Most toys these days have a fair amount of dis-assembly and it seems AG is going that way as well. I did not experience any difficulty or damage to any of the clothes that were threaded to the box.
