Just purchased this outfit on a whim while at TRU last weekend... I'm sure glad I did! It's adorable! My redheaded girls look beautiful in it and I imagine any dolls with darker skin tones will as well. While not practical for rolling around in the snow, it does look warm enough for some lovely outdoor photos!
Includes: Cowl-neck sweater, blue quilted skirt, light blue leggings, faux fur trimmed boots, and a faux fur headband. $36
Sweater: White knitted cowl-neck with white faux fur on the front of the bodice. The collar, cuffs, and hem have silvery glitter thread woven throughout. It's subtle but looks lovely when the light hits it just so! Standard velcro closure in the back. Not sure if it will cause snags. This outfit of course, can't go without AG's name being all over it! There is a silver nameplate on one sleeve but looks to be removed easily enough. I haven't tried it though. Overall A+
Skirt: A light baby blue color. Pulls on easily with a ribbed waistband, no velcro closures here. It's on the thinner side, but it works since I assume any thicker and it would just be bulk on top of the leggings. It is "quilted" throughout and of course... features a silver AG tag! This one is located on the hem and I can definitely confirm that mine only has one loop of thread holding it on, so this one looks easy to remove. A+
Leggings: Standard AG leggings in a light blue. For some reason AG calls these "tights" online. They are lighter than the skirt but not by much. These pull on and are quite long, mine bunch slightly at the ankles. Not wearable without the skirt however, unless your doll chooses to go commando that day. Underwear IS visible underneath these! A-
Boots: These are interesting! I expected harder boots but these are not. They have a nice solid sole (rubber I think) so dolls can stand easily. The actual boot after that is a very soft material... almost suede-ish? Soft and easily moved around, kind of like a foot-pocket instead of that harder material. I actually like it. My doll faceplanted in the snow wearing these and they dried nicely. I don't think I need to worry about peeling like with those cheap pleathery boots that AG has sold before. Faux-fur trim circles the top, nothing spectacular. There are little bows on the outside, each bow ending with two beads. The boots close in the back with thinner velcro, the stuff that is used a lot on AG boots, rips kind of easily (at least in my experience). A-
Headband: Standard AG headband. Faux-fur like the sweater and boot trim, has elastic at the very bottom for some stretch and an AG tag that will need to be cut off. This headband is a decent size, easy enough to get onto my #61. Might be difficult to get on dolls with bigger hair though. A
