My husband gave me this outfit as a present! It is just the cutest thing. I love the bright colors!
The outfit is comprised of five pieces with mix & match potential: stretchy print leggings, stretchy print top, wrap top, tennis shoes, and headband. The leggings and top share the same bright coral and aqua print while the wrap top is a coordinating lavender with contrast stitching. The shoes are a matching coral and aqua, and the headband is coral as well. I love that the outfit is colorful and isn't too matchy-matchy--the wrap top relieves the color scheme.
The leggings are a nice soft knit fabric and go on easily. They are capri length. The top is made of the same material but has an elastic waistband that says "cheer" around it. It is extremely difficult to get on because there is no velcro closure--you have to pull the top on over the doll's head. I managed it, but I was afraid the stitching would rip (it didn't). I like the racer back but I wish they had given it velcro--I'm afraid I'll stretch out the fabric over time. My favorite part of the outfit is the lavender wrap top because I wear things just like it. It is a nice lightweight knit fabric and has great mix & match potential--in fact, it matches the Seashore Stripe Skirt from the Mix & Match collection perfectly! The shoes are very cute, but I wish AG would give us real laces instead of the ubiquitous elastic for dummies. The headband is simple--just stretchy elastic, basic but nice.
Overall, this is an adorable ensemble, but the difficulty of getting the top on will reduce its play value for young children (and beware of trying to get this onto a Pleasant Company doll!).
