Ruthie is a beautiful doll! Her story is one of my favorites and her name itself is sooo cute. I wish they made more clothing for her, though she looks great in a lot of Kit's stuff, so there are still plenty of options!

Ruthie is so pretty and fits so well in so many eras. Let me find as many smashing photos as I can. This is Ruthie's modern alter-ego checking into camp this summer. Sorry so large! One of my favorite Ruthie shots Last year's birthday loot (Ruthie's wearing a dress agjenmeg made for the summer swap)

I adore Ruthie. I originally fell for her when on a Gilmore Girls kick and in certain pictures she looked an awful lot like a dollified Lauren Graham. I ordered her and waited (she was my first doll in 12 years or something) impatiently. I read her book and I fell head over heels. Ruthie is my everything will be okay doll. Having her around makes things better even when they are absolutely, positively awful. Oh, and a little known fact about Ruthie? She can tame sharks. True story.

Ruthie is one of my all-time favorites. She's packed away right now while I'm downsizing or I'd take photos. I love her sweet face, her eye color, and her hair, basically everything. Ruthie makes a great friend for Kit but mine doubles as my 1950s girl. I think she'd work in any 20th century decade.

Ruthie has too much hair, but I like Ruthie's original hair style.
Babywhite's DD age 7 (DD asked me to write this info for her about her Ruthie doll)

farm8.staticflickr.com/7119/7017547187_86a274d0f9_z.jpgI just got Ruthie and I love her! She has a different hair color than any of my other dolls. She is so pretty. She's also my first curly haired doll. Her meet outfit is so cute! Mod edit to remove oversized, embedded image

I have been wanting Ruthie, since she came out. I finally got her in the mail this past week. She's such a cutie, i have an exceptional love for dark haired dolls with pretty eyes. She got a nice combo , with the fair skin, and dark hair with red streaks, and those lovely grey eyes. I give her and an A. Her outfit is sooo cute, those little shoes with the heels, just make her so dainty A+
Her hair was a hot mess when i got her, i had to work with it, with a spritzer bottle and the ag brush. B-.
overall Ruthie is a darling, i recommend her.

Ruthie is an excellent doll, in my opinion. I got her in 2008 when I was nine years old. I love her meet dress, her shoes and socks, and her hair, but I made the mistake of not getting a pick for her hair, so now it's wavy instead of curly. I would definitely recommend her to Kit owners and all other doll-lovers!

Picture comparing Rebecca and Ruthie. Rebecca's hair is thinner and much lighter.

I recently got my Ruthie and am wondering why I didn't have one sooner. She is a beautiful doll, with a lovely combination of smokey blue eyes and dark hair. Her hair has threads of red in it which can be best seen in natural light and add a lot of interest to her appearance. I love curly hair because I find it easy to style. Just a twist and a scrunch and it looks good. My Ruthie has thick hair and is easily tamed. Her meet outfit is cute. I especially love the shoes that are classy with their tiny heel. Ruthie gets an A from me.
