I was prepared to not like Ruthie's pajamas, but I think that they are perfect for her. The color looks great on her. The buttons in the front are decorative only, and they velcro in the back. I wish it didn't have the "R" sewn on because it makes it impractical for re-named (or other named) dolls. The R does appear to be loosely sewn on, and the stitches could be cut, but I'm not sure if it would damage the fabric or not.
I got this for Susan, friend of Molly, and think they are adorable! The only thing I was worried about was the "R" applique, but found it very easy to take off, and no holes or damage done to the pocket. I just wish they closed in the front, not with the velcro in back, but they are such a pretty color, and the slippers are very easy to put on. They are very feminine and glamorous all at the same time!! A-, if only for the velcro, they would be A+.
I really like these pajamas, and they're perfect for Ruthie. When I bought Ruthie, I bought both her outfits with her, as I fear AG is phasing out the best friend line. The pajamas are very pretty and go with Ruthie's personality from the books. For some reason I expected them to be softer, but I love them nonetheless.

Like Kris, I did not think I would like these PJs, as I am not a fan of satin. But I now have a Ruthie Grace, and these seem to be perfect for her, from the cut to the satin fabric to the ice pink color. My MG doll with Ruthie's wig has the perfect coloring for these PJs and I don't think there is another set of night wear that suits her better. I don't like the slipper one bit. AG could have done a little better on those--they remind me of Bitty Baby shoes. PJs ---A, Slippers--- D.
