Spring Picnic Pants Set for Dolls + Book Item# F5616 $24 "This set offers everything she needs to head out for a playful picnic. The twins get to welcome the return of spring with this set, featuring: * Floral-print capri pants and a matching knit top with flowers trimming the waist * A reversible headband to keep her hair out of her eyes and soft shoes to keep her toes cozy * The Bitty Twins Picnic book with tips for parents about picnic planning" This outfit is very well made and adorable. The top is cornflower blue knitted cotton (t-shirt material) with tiny flower shapes woven into the fabric. The collar is edged with magenta cotton lace as well as the drop waist area (and the lace goes completely around the shirt!) There is a silk flower sewn onto the drop waist by a sequin. The back closes with velcro. The pants are flowered cotton with the same magenta lace on the hem, although this time it's a double row. There is elastic at the waist, although I find it a bit too snug for our Dusty. The shoes are the same knitted cotton as the shirt with the same magenta lace around the top edge. There is a bitty flower embroidered on each toe area. They don't seem to stay on very well as there is no elastic to hold them tightly. The head band is reversible cotton of the same two fabrics of the outfit. There is a tiny strip of elastic in the back that is meant to allow it to stretch over her head. However, we had to force it over her head and could just barely stretch it enough to pull it up in the proper head-band position. Cute, but extremely tight. The book about picnics is sweet. Overall Grade B+. Worth the clearance price of $12 right now.

I had to force it on, too, and there is no way my daughter could get this on. DD has this outfit and likes it but insists it's pajamas due to the soft shoes that she thinks are slippers. Would it kill AG to make all the BT shoes real with soles?

I bought this outfit on the sale page, and it is nice for the sale price of $12.00. The pants are a little thin to me, although the shirt is nice. The headband is really cute, but hard to get on just right. The shoes are... not really shoes. They are ok, but I would prefer actual shoes! The outfit has some cute parts but is not to die for. Overall I give it a A-, since it really is for kids and not collectors. For collectors I'd give it a B+.

I agree its great for $12 bucks, not so sure i would have been thrilled with the fit and the "slipper shoes" for full price! It is easy for my 4yr old to get on so the play factor is great!
