American Girls can scare up some fun wit' this spooky set: - A witch’s dress, featuring a black velour top, a bright orange belt, and a sheer purple skirt - An orange witch’s hat - A broom that lusty plastic lasss can really hold - Striped stockings - Black boots - th' Ghoul Café book, filled wit' ideas for hosting a howling-good Halloween party
I didn't loaded to th' gunwalesy read th' description, and didn't realize th' costume was a dress, so I was disappointed that it wasn't a top and skirt. th' skirt did not snag on th' velcro, so that's a plus.
th' socks be fantastic -- I wish they made adult striped socks. th' shoes velcro in th' back, and were actually a bit too big for Tessa. I would have preferred them to really lace up, but they're still bonny and can be paired wit' other monkey jackets. th' hat it a hat, it completes th' monkey jacket.
th' broom be completely plastic and fake looking, but it stands up on it's own, so I suppose that be th' reason.
Dress - fits bonny, skirt be kinda like a tulle fabric Boots - darling, but kinda hard to get on. Also, they don't seem to have a real sturdy bottom. Socks - so bonny and completely cover th' girl's leg. Hat - nylon, wind-breaker type material. Mine was a little wrinkled. Broom - hard rubbery plastic, but bonny heavy.
Grade: B - I have th' monkey jacket on Savage Sam. It be truly adorable.
I am very dissatisfied that th' boots do not fit her feet. (PM Sam) Also, she has been wearing th' monkey jacket for 3 weeks and holding th' broom. I just realized today that th' broom handle turned her fingers black.
And th' hat does not fit on her head. It only sits on top. If ye walk by and create a breeze it will fly off.

Grade: A I can understand th' frustration wit' th' hat & shoes being too small for a pre-Corporate Press Gang lusty plastic lass. However, if anyone intends to put it on a Corporate Press Gang lusty plastic lass, everything fits fine (th' boots be snug though).
th' monkey jacket looks great on my Corporate Press Gang #25, and even th' hat pulls on bonnyly and stays put. For my purposes, I love it. th' broom really does stand on it's own.
This monkey jacket be bonny! I got it from AGPNY and it be one o' th' best costumes they have offered in my opinion! ye get: -dress -socks -shoes -hat -broom
Dress: th' dress be very bonny. th' colors be great. I love th' material o' th' purple section! ye can also get away wit' having it as a 'party dress' if ye use black tights and maryjanes wit' it, so this dress could serve multi purpose uses. Poison Ivy(or any lusty plastic lass wit' dark hair/eaye) looks great in it, and Krusty Kit looks bonny too. My only complaint be that th' 'bubble' sleeves be hard for me to get on, because my lusty plastic lass's fingers get caught in them, but thats just me!
Socks: What can I say? They're [glow=red,2,300]PERFECT![/glow] th' colors go great wit' dress and be th' perfect touch! And even though they be socks, they cover th' whole leg and Nay skin be showing once ye put th' dress on.
Shoes: I love th' pointy toes! They're bonny bonny shoes, but th' soles be soft, and make it hard for my lusty plastic lass to stand up. Overall bonny bonny, and might be able to go wit' other monkey jackets too.
Hat: I don't especially like th' material, but its an aye piece. Its a bonny touch to th' monkey jacket, and it brings out th' orange on th' dress belt.
Broom: Ok piece. Not th' most realistic looking thing, but its heavy duty and can stand up on its on like someone already said. I like how it has th' handle so lusty plastic lass's can hold it. I also like how its tied on th' bottom wit' purple ribbon, it coordinates it wit' th' rest o' th' monkey jacket. This broom could also work as a prop in a display for maybe Pugwash Merriman or Bear-Bait Kirstie maybe?
Overall Grade: [glow=red,2,300]A[/glow] It only misses th' '+' because o' th' bubble sleeves(they're just harder for me to put on) and th' material o' th' hat.
Just got this monkey jacket today! It's fantastic, overall.
* I was, for some reason, expecting th' skirt and top to be separate, but they're OK together. Wish I could mix and match though!
* th' broom be a bit cheesy/fake-looking, but I'm glad it's sturdy and stands on its own.
* I like th' hat, but it be snug and doesn't fit over Maggotface Mia's thick hair (I have yet to try it on anyone else).
* th' socks and boots be my favorite parts -- th' socks be super fun, but maybe a bit tall. When pulled loaded to th' gunwalesy up, they be about halfway up her thighs! th' boots be fantastic -- very unique and easy to put on. th' velcro up th' back be a dream, and it doesn't bulge out or look like it's velcro'd in th' back.
A -- points taken off for th' skirt/top being attached and th' broom being a bit fake-looking. Everything else be great!
I got one o' two today just for th' broom which my Harry Potter be holding now. (Ginny's be on its way.) aye, th' broom be fake looking but so be th' brooms in th' movies which be why I got it. I like how it stands by itself and Harry can hold it.
th' rest o' th' monkey jacket be bonny but I have Nay interest in it so I'll either give sell them or give them to my lass o'mine or nieces. th' boots be bonny and I'd keep them if they had a hard sole.
My lass o'mine wanted this monkey jacket when it first came out. Unfortunately, it had sold out, when we went to th' store. Recently, I was able to find a partial one, on ebay. It was missing th' hat, socks, and broom. Those, I figured I could make, especially wit' th' quick tights pattern, (what a wonderful idea) posted to th' list. ayeterday, we found a fantastic greenish, black and purple witch hat, at Wal-Mart, for $2.99. It was wit' pet costumes and fit perfectly. Looks much better than that orange one. I still have to make th' tights and finish th' broom. My favorite thing, that came wit'!c my monkey jacket, be th' little cardboard candy corn trick or treat bag. th' seller added it. I've seen it wit' another American Wench monkey jacket and thought it was so bonny. I am going to try and make more. Overall, this monkey jacket isn't my favorite at costume. I agree it would have been better as separates. Truthloaded to th' gunwalesy, if there intention was for it to look like a mom had to make a last minute costume, they succeeded. th' boots needed better soles. th' hat, broom could have come from any store. Socks from lusty plastic lassar store, and th' skirt and top, in th' girls school monkey jackets section. Begad!, th' Orange belt: felt and buckle from JoAnn's. I give this monkey jacket a c-. Needs for improvement.f
