Chrissa's pet llama Starburst is incredibly soft. She is white with an embroidered face. She has a blue harness with a strap for leading her. She also has a "parade pack" made of purple fleece with some flowers embroidered on it. Inside her pack are four bookmarks with quotes about friendship.

While I don't think AG intended the harness to be removed, it can be easily removed and put back if you are okay with some llama face mushing. Starburst is rather silky and I didn't expect the parade pack to stay put, but it does. The bookmarks are all different and the perfect size to keep inside a mini-book.

Chrissa's Pet Llama
Item# F9047
$25

This baby mini llama named Starburst is a special gift from Nana. She has a cream-colored, huggable plush body with an attached halter. She also comes with a parade pack that holds four bookmarks for Chrissa to share with her friends.

This is actually a soft plush animal! Her fur is very shiny and silky. She stands about 11 1/2" tall and 8" in length.

Here's a picture of Starburst without her harness and with Chrissa for a good size comparison.

I just got Starburst the llama and I love it! It is extremely soft and silky pure white with a sheen to it. I won't take off the harness ever because I don't want to mess her up, but that's just me being neurotic. Her purple fleece parade pack is a simple piece of cloth with two small pockets, and I have slipped the little anti-bullying bookmarks into the pocket. I love the llama's eyes; they're really pretty just like a real llama with long eyelashes. And it's good that the face is stitched on so nothing can fall off. The best part about it?? IT'S FUN!! It's not a common pet for a girl to have, so I burst out laughing when I opened the box. I like when AG has original ideas...keeps us all entertained :o)

Could someone please post a picture of Starburst with one of the smaller horses. I'm thinking about getting Starburst but I'd like to see how it compares to my Patriot. Thanks.

I love the little llama, and for AG prices, I'd say it's not a bad deal, however I noticed Barnes & Noble and other places sell plush toy llamas of about the same size (in different colour combinations, too). These ones run less than $10, so just as a note, if you're wanting to save money, but still have a llama that's in size-proportion to your dolls, one of these would be a good alternative choice.

Starburst's fur is really nice though, I'll have to say, not to mention a unique pet for a girl to have. My only complaint is the parade pack is just a piece of cloth with a pocket, basically - it would be nice if it was velcro, or some way of keeping it on a bit better.

Overall rating: A

The fencing from Felicity's stable also makes a great pen for Starburst. My daughter often puts Patriot and Starburst together to graze. She absolutely loves her llama -- it's so cute and soft.

One note -- we opened two llama boxes at AG. There was quite a difference between the two we happened to pick. One was MUCH fatter and that one came home with us. :)

My almost-17 yo DD professes herself too old and too 'cool' for dolls but still takes an interest in mine, and especially their pets. She likes unusual pets (she has bearded dragons and a snake). She insisted that we *cough*...Chrissa... needed the llama. Desperately.

And almost as soon as the box from AG had been opened, the llama was duly abducted. "For the dolls"... yeahright. lol. I haven't got any photos of him ... yet....but before he vanished, I was able to ascertain that he's soft and silky to the touch and wears an incredibly 'snooty' expression. I think it's the ears. He's adorable in a snooty-llama kind of way.
He didn't want to stand up at first (well he IS a baby after all, bound to be a bit wobbly on his legs).

A for cute. C for cost.
