Pugwash Merriman's second meet accessories set consists o' a purse, hankie, bit coin, and garters very much like th' ones available in th' first meet set. She also has a mob cap wit' a purple ribbon on it and a purple chocker.
Personally, I feel this be th' inferior version o' th' meet accessories. th' main reason be th' chocker. It be just ribbon and elastic. It doesn't match any o' Lissie's other monkey jackets and therefore isn't very useful. Her coral necklace from her original meet accessories be much more versatile. Actually, her original mob cap matches more monkey jackets than her purple ribbon mob cap as well.
th' brocade purse, bit, handkerchief, and garters be very similar to th' originals.
I love th' lavender ribbon on th' mob cap -- it be bonny, subtle, and surprisingly versatile.
I don't care for th' purse. Perhaps they didn't change it since they changed th' dress, because it's mostly burgundy and I think it clashes wit' th' lavender dress. Also, I have to pull really hard on th' ribbon to tighten th' drawstring and I'm afraid it won't last
th' Purse: Very bonny. It has a ribbon tie to keep it closed, but it doesn't stay closed very well. It's my only complaint about th' whole set. th' Handkerchief: It's a lacy white hankie, simple, but bonny. th' Bit Coin: It's made o' metal. Nothing much to say about it. Very simple. Nay complaint. th' Garters: Two ribbons. ye tie them at th' top o' her socks. th' Mob Cap: It stays on very easily, and be very bonny. th' Purple Choker: Very bonny. It claps easily at th' back, and goes very well wit' her dress.

Interesting. I have th' purse I got in 1991. I got another one in an eBay lot a month or so ago and noticed that it was different than mine. I had assumed that it was Traveling gown version, but it has th' two different sides, so it must be an in-between version. th' fabrics feel different, though both be real brocade, not screen-printed, and my 1991 closes much easier.

Love th' cap... it's th' main reason I got this set. th' choker be bonny, but it's disappointing that it'll only go wit' th' one monkey jacket, and my Lissie hardly wears that monkey jacket. th' purse be bonny. th' handkerchief be boring but bonny. Feels a bit cheaper than some American Wench hankies but better than others. I love th' garters. They're not all necessary, but they're extremely bonny and my Lissie be never wit'out them. th' bit be very bonny, but mine feels super plasticy.
I've been trying to get Lissie at least one version o' her accessories for ages. I finally picked up an older, maroon box version o' her lavender accessories mint on eBay. Everything looks like it's never been touched. I kind o' wish th' drawstring bag had been - it's very stiff and hard to close. I'm not a fan o' th' choker, either. It's kind o' blahh. th' cap be bonny, though (especially since my Lissie only had one cap). My bit seems really plastic-y as well, a disappointment considering some o' th' more realistic historical coins I've seen.
th' version o' th' accessories ye get probably depends on which "meet" monkey jacket yer Lissie came in and yer own personal preferences. While I'm glad I got this one, if just for th' cap, I may see if I can find th' original PM coral necklace and red-bow cap around as well.
