I got this from ebay in fall 2008; it's missing the stockings. I wasn't quite sure about the outfit but wanted some more for my dolls, so I thought I'd get it. I'd rate this outfit a B (would be higher if a shirt were included under the jacket or the jacket was done differently). It's a pretty color and style is nice but the outfit really needs a shirt or cami underneath the jacket. The sides of the jacket lift up quite a bit when you raise your dolls' arms up high, their skin shows. I also wish they style of the jacket were a bit different or instead of a jacket that it was a sweater or something. Sometimes the jacket doesn't stay closed (also why a top underneath it would be better). The skirt is pretty and shoes are cute. The fabric might make them prone to bleeding onto the doll though, so it's probably best to handwash the outfit to get excess dies out. Closeup of the shoes and bottom of the skirt. From the side with arms raised up high. From the side with arms a little lower. I think it looks pretty on Nicki.

I also give this outfit a B. The collar of my outfit never seems to stay down; it does need a cami underneath. It looks pretty on my Nellie doll. The material is not the cheaper kind, and it is well made.

I don't own this, but my best friend does, and I've borrowed it for my dolls.
I can honestly say this is one of THE WORST AG outfits I've ever come across, aside from the shoes. The fit is all wrong. The faux fur hangs from the ends of the sleeves and skirt him so heavily and unnaturally. Truly bothersome. As OP mentioned, there is not undershirt, and the top itself is so loose and short that it looks ridiculous unless the doll is standing perfectly straight and linear. The collar poofs up easily and looks funny. The clasps are bizarre. This is one of the first modern AG dresses I came into contact with in person, and it really made me all the more inclined to stick to the historicals.
Grade? D. On a good day.
