Mod note: This item was introduced in 2009 and retired in 2014.The Rebecca Mini Doll is really very cute. I wasn't sure if I liked the Meet Outfit on the 18" doll, but now seeing it in person on the mini, it looks very nice. The main difference is the buttons on the Mini Rebecca's dress are embroidered on. She has a nice full head of hair, which seems silkier, less stiff, and as a result, more in scale to the doll than some of the other minis. Her eyes are not really hazel, but more light brown-hazel is hard to reproduce in a monotone color. Her boots have embroidered buttons, and open in the back with velcro. I noticed on the 18" review that the dress sleeves were tight. On the mini doll, there is no velcro on the sleeves, and the hands come out easily, but it is a bit hard to get the hands back in the sleeve-they get caught between the red and the black velvet part. The Mini Dolls are a great way to collect the entire historical collection if one doesn't have the space, budget, or simply don't want all the 18" inch dolls. DD and I have also found they make great birthday presents for her friends. We both give the Rebecca Mini Doll an A+.

Mini Rebecca is a cute little thing. Her little red dress is made of the same fabric as Rebecca's dress. Unfortunately, the little black tabs at the waist don't look as nice as big Rebecca's. Her tiny boots are so twee. As minniebelle said, her eyes are a single color- they don't have the lovely speckles you get on the larger version. The buttons on the dress are also just embroidered rather than real buttons. Unlike big Rebecca, mini Rebecca's sleeves are not lined with white fabric. As mini Rebecca has no other clothes, it really shouldn't be a big deal if her arms get stained. Mini Rebecca's bouffant hairdo is huge! The mini book is adorable. I had the author of the Rebecca books sign mini Rebecca's so that my doll, Inky could have a treasured copy. Jacqueline Green is still making appearances at several other AG stores (we were in NYC), so your doll can also still get a signed copy!

Got my Mini Rebecca today! Her lovely lush curls showed from even the unopened box.
Her hair is beautiful, but has a tendency to quickly become frizzy. I was able to style it back into place, but one has to be careful.
The boots are a good replica and even open with velcro. The dress is okay- I would have preferred a different one to be her Meet dress, but this may just be my personal preference. I like how the embroidery does a good job with replicating buttons. The barrette is cute.
The stockings- they did the same thing as with the Samantha doll, which may have been historically inaccurate. And like with the Samantha mini, it made the doll look heavy around the middle. So I just snipped them into thigh-high stockings- makes the dress fit better. From what I hear, the Rebecca doll has thigh-highs rather than tights, but I could have misread.
I like the eye color- it is more of a light brown/amber than the hazel green of the big doll. It resembles the illustrations very much. The face mold is very nice and works well for her. The hair color is lighter than Samantha's, and just a tad lighter than Molly's (looks more like it has highlights rather than just being overall lighter), but still darker than Inga's.
Overall, I give this mini doll an A. The plus is missing because of the stocking issue and because the hair gets frizzy very easily. But otherwise a very good mini doll. My girls are very pleased with her.

The Rebecca mini doll is really quite cute, and her clothes seem to be pretty well-made and impressive for a mini, in my opinion.
My only real gripe about the doll is that you can't really raise her arms up over her head because of the way her dress is on her - it's like it is too tight near her armpits.
Other than that, though, I give the doll an A!

My mini Rebecca is so cute! I got her at Borders today so Mia can have her own doll. She (and I!) love her to pieces! The book is really cute, but seems to have less pages than other mini doll books...IMO....unless it's just been awhile. And I love her little shoes and hairclip! Her hair stays down nice and she has soft hair- I love it. A+

A+
I wasn't sure if I wanted 18" Rebecca, so I got this mini, which saved me lots of money! Anyway, I REALLY love her! She is so cute! Her hair is really fun to brush and her dress is a great repleca of the real one. as others have said, she is so sweet looking and minis are great! Rebecca looks just like samantha and ruthie and I already have those! I don't need triplets! This was a great compremise!

I just got mini-Rebecca a few days ago, and she's been going everywhere with me in my purse! I wasn't sure what I thought about her or her 18 inch counterpart, so I got the mini doll when a nearby bookstore sent out a lot of coupons. Now that I have her, I know I want her big sister too!
Now for an actual review:
Outfit: A near perfect replica of the 18 inch version. Grade A+. Face: Looks very much like big Rebecca, except the eyes vary slightly. However, this is the case for almost all the mini dolls, and I think they did much better with Rebecca's eyes than some of the others'. Grade A. Hair: I get the feeling that her hair would very quickly become a mess if this doll were given to small children. I smooth it daily, and the curls continue to look very nice. Her hair is very soft, but will tangle and become bushy very easily. The little barrette that comes with her is removable and very cute. Grade A

Mini Rebecca is a cute little thing! While her hair is much curlier (and bigger!) than her 18" counterpart's, she's a perfect little mini-me for Miss Rubin. The mini dress is cute. She also comes with a pair of black stockings, underwear, the cutest pair of boots, and the hair clip which is pretty secure in her hair. As always, the miniature "Meet" book included is adorable. Not much to say there. Grade: A

I can't really add much to what has been said but that Rebecca the mini looks nothing in person like her stock photo from AG. The picture is not quite ugly, but the doll is gorgeous. It doesn't do her justice in the least.
The mini book contains the first half or so of each of the first three chapters of Meet Rebecca. The print is itsy-bitsy-teeny-tiny, even to my 'young eyes'. So if you don't want to strain your eyes, don't try to read it without a magnifying glass or reading glasses. That said, I love that the print is to scale!
Grade: A++

In my humble opinion, she is just the cutest mini AG makes! Her hair is so full and curly and soft and her outfit is so detailed. I just want to eat her up!

I think the Rebecca mini doll is soo cute! Her hair is so curly and pretty. The clip is plastic, but it's not a big deal IMO. I love her little black tights and boots, they're so adorable and small! xD I can see from pictures, that Mini Beckie's eye color is very close to 18" Rebecca's eyes. They are a very pretty hazel color. I also love the mini meet book; perfect for the 18" dolls. Anyways, I give mini Beckie and A++! Now for a picture! (I only have one of my doll Noelle holding Mini Beckie, not one of just Mini Beckie by herself) *mod edit to remove dead image link*
