First Impression: Ack! Those pants are hideous! For Bitty: It's a shame the pants are so bad, the sweater and shoes are wonderful. Perfect for fall, lots of detail, fit well. Grade: B- For Big Girls: Ditto In Conclusion: If you can get this for a good price, the sweater and shoes are worth it...just don't look at the pants.

B-: Overall, I have fairly mixed thoughts on this outfit. For as much as I like the sweater, I’m not so keen on the pants. Therefore, it was difficult to give one grade for the entire set. The set contains: a cable knit sweater, twill pants, clogs, and a book. Hat not Included Sweater: The sweater is definitely the star of the set. I especially like that it’s orange, an underused color in the AG world. The sweater is well made, classic, cozy, and has a fair amount of mix-and-match potential. It’s appropriately roomy on both the Bitty and 18” dolls, which adds to the cozy feel. The sweater is relatively easy for little hands to pull over Bitty’s head and the tie closes with a Velcro closure. It seems like it’ll become an autumn favorite here (when paired with jeans). However, I do wish that it included an undershirt of sorts; the hole between the tie and the rest of the sweater is fairly large. The sweater looks better with jeans. Pants: The twill pants are too bright for my tastes and don’t look like something I’d choose for a real baby. I really have to question the fabric choice. That being said, the pants do a look a tiny bit better in real life than in pictures and they gained my target age-group daughter’s approval. The pants fit Bitty well, but are capri length on the 18” dolls. Clogs: For Bitty shoes, the felted clogs are quite nice. They have real soles, fit well, and stay on Bitty’s feet (and 18” doll feet too). The clogs are also fairly easy for children to put on and remove. I could definitely do without the embroidery, but understand how it’s supposed to tie the outfit together. Book: The book is a cute story about sharing/taking turns. I doubt it’ll see much use, but it was better than most Bitty books. I liked that it featured a character other than Bitty Bear. At the right price, the set is worth getting for the sweater and maybe the shoes. However, I’d otherwise pass.

I actually rather like the (admittedly loud) pants. The pretty, cozy orange sweater sort of downplays the busy colorful print. The shoes are also adorable. The outfit looks super cute on my blond bitty. I got this set from last year's Cyber Monday sale for a big discount, so I can overlook more than I'd be willing to at retail. A solid B.

The name alone is super cute. I really like the sweater, not so much the pants. the shoes are really pretty.
