This item was introduced in 2009 and retired in 2015.
When Rebecca visits a movie studio with Cousin Max, she finds this beautiful settee on the set. It has carved wood trim and legs, gracefully curved arms, and a velvety fabric seat. Dimensions: W: 19" x H: 12 1/4" x D: 9"Love it! It fits 2 dolls quite easily. The fabric is rich and heavy and quite appropriate for the time. The wood is stained and detailed. It is expensive, but this is what we talk about, when we say heirloom quality. Grade: A

I use Kit's too, proportionally it works well with Rebecca's Settee.

Rebecca's settee arrived last night and I just checked it out. It has to be returned because there is a very noticeable flaw in the upholstery. I hate returns and if there were anyway I could have fixed this, I'd have kept it.
I am mentioning this because for those on the fence about getting it, not only is it slated for retirement, but if you wait until the 11th hour and get a flawed piece, exchanging it might be an issue. I really wasn't hep on getting this item right now though it's been on my list forever, but I do want it for Caroline's Parlour scene, and the retirement would have put me in the situation of looking for it on Ebay with even fewer options if it is flawed. With AG, though it is still a pain for me, they will make good on the piece with an exchange while they have the item.

Picture request Rebecca's settee Caroline's parlor. Since I am considering purchasing the settee I was wondering if anyone here actually has both of these pieces and any pictures of them together. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone can help. Thank you

I just managed to get all 3 in the same place. My Rebecca's apartment is the locale for the Parlor pieces, so they're not all together (or finished yet, but I thought this would give you a sense of the scale.)

A friend of mine has this. I think its a lovely piece and works for all of the older historicals, 1930's back. The color is rich and beautiful, and it makes a lovely focal point in a doll scene. It also is a unique piece.
