I purchased the new JLY GT41 online on 9/3 and she arrived on 9/14. She is absolutely stunning with the dark hair and green eyes combination. The new green eyes that AG has decided to use on the dolls is beautiful and so real looking compared to the original green decal eyes. Her wig is a nice length and has a nice curl to it. I also didn't notice any thin spots. It bounced back nicely after a quick misting and picking it once removing the hairnet. Here are some photos of her taken the day she came home: picasaweb.google.com/zeebeedeezigns/Eden#Stephanie

I ordered my #41 with the code last weekend (9/19) and she arrived a few days ago (9/23). She is a gorgeous girl! The hair/eye color combination is beautiful, and truly unique thus far in the AG line. She's closest to Ruthie, but there are a number of differences between them. I think she'd work well as a stand-in for Ruthie; I'd love to see her in Kit or Molly's clothes (I have their stuff, but in storage). She looks good in just about anything I've tried on her. Wig: A+ Her wig is nice and thick. The curls are manageable; I do not have a hair pick, and smoothing/arranging her curls with my fingers seems to be working just fine. It hits right about shoulder-blade length (if she had shoulder-blades). The color is dark brown, close to black. It's definitely darker than Chrissa's. It's close to Jess's, but it lacks the reddish highlights hers has. Chrissa on the left, Jess on the right: I pulled #41's hair back in a loose ponytail and loose pigtails, and no wigcap shows through. Eyes: A+ LOVE these new green eyes! At last, AG has chucked the neon color they were trying to pass off as green! They are a sap green color - a deep (but not dark), intense green. They look stunning with her coloring. As for realism: I have yet to meet a person with this color green eyes - typically they are lighter or have a lot more brown or gold tones - but again, these are a LOT more realistic than the old neon green AG was using. Overall, one of the most beautiful dolls in my collection. I am very happy I got her! If you're unsure about getting her because she's online-only, my advice is go for it! She's a sweetheart.

My just like you 41 is called Natalie. She has beautiful green eyes and soft curly dark blackish brown hair. She has such a sweet face you want to give her a hug. I would recommend a pick for her hair to be styled. You won't be disappointed in her.

Adding some photos of my daughter's #41 here. Love these beautiful eyes! This doll has a very pretty wig. It is shot through with brown highlights, not the auburn lights that Jess and Ruthie have. The wig is not so thick as to be unmanageable, but not so thin as to be frustrating. As can be seen in the first photo below, the doll's hair was flattened on one side straight fresh out of the box due to how AG sweeps the hair aside into the hair net for shipping. It was also kind of slick-feeling. However, it curled up just fine with a little water and fluffing. We maintain her curls with water spritz and finger curling, and occasional brushing. I personally think the curlier-haired dolls tend to get ratty hair without regular attention, so I do not recommend this doll for a young girl unless she is a very careful child. My daughter likes to sleep with her dolls and after one night with this one decided never again, because it bothered her how messy the doll's hair got. Overall grade A- for some maintenance issues.

My mother has this doll. She's a big "Gone with the Wind" fan so she named hers Scarlet O'Hara, which I think is fabulous. Scarlet O'Hara is the only person I can think of who had eyes this green. Sorry I don't have any pictures since it's not my doll. To me, her hair reminds me of Rebecca's. Not quite as thin as Rebecca, but the same curly style and length. Like Rebecca, the curls are sort of limp on one side from the hairnet I assume. So if your good with Rebecca's hair this might be a doll to consider, or vice versa.

I finally got her!!! I finally got my Sara!! I have had my eye on 41 since she came out.. And she finally came today here is one of my fav pics I took of her today. I wanted to update my review as I now have two 41's my twins Claira, and Sara the one on the left is now known as Claira (shes got pierced ears and will play modern) the one on the right is now Sara (no piercing and plays historical) They are actually semi noticably different. Claira's coloring is darker than Sara's and Claira's hair is actually a shade lighter and curls differently.

I am absolutely in love with my #41, Emma. I actually had a Ruthie on my wishlist, but my hubby won #41 in a blog contest (long story there...but you can read about it on my blog: nevergrowupdollguide.blogspot.com ). She's very similar to Ruthie and is pretty close to a mini-me. I'll admit, her hair takes a lot of work, but she is so worth it! I love her deep green eyes and the dark color of her hair. It's hard to tell from pictures, but she has faint, almost reddish brown highlights. I love that because my hair is the same way. Anyway, without further ado, here are a couple of pics of my lovely Emma Grace.

This is the doll that made my daughter excited about dolls, so I have a soft spot in my heart for her. When we saw her last month on an impromptu stop at AGP Chicago, my daughter, who has up to this point been lukewarm about dolls, fell in love. We had actually offered to buy her a Kanani and she said "No thank you", but she had to have this doll. Interestingly, when we saw 41 in the display case and then found her in her box, we all thought she had brown eyes. I thought I'd missed the release of a doll who truly looked like my DD with shoulder-length curly brown hair and dark brown eyes. It wasn't until we read her description card that we saw her eyes were green (but DD was still sold on her). As DD carried her around in different stores and outside we were amazed at how different the doll's eyes looked. I tried to capture some of these different colors on camera with little success, but if you scroll through the other images in this review thread you can get a good idea. It's interesting since so many people's eyes do look very different in different lights. They're very lovely. I was a little concerned about the curly hair since my daughter is on the younger side, but I think the length makes it more manageable. (Also I had to think outside of the collector box since this is my daughter's doll, not mine, and she will actually play with it!) It's a nice length for maintenance and still long enough to do 2 ponytails with or a small flip. She is a beautiful doll--an "A" in my book.

#41 was my first doll that I picked out in person. The doll is just stunning in person. I love the new green eyes. The only problem I have with this doll is that fresh out of the box her hair was a mess because of the hairnet! I brushed it out and re-curled it.

Here is my #41. So far I call her "not Ruthie". I'm trying not to buy every doll whose story appeals to me, so she is standing in for Kit's friend. I already had Ruthie's meet dress since I love purple. She's my only doll with an "x". The person I bought her from didn't seem to be doing a lot of reselling on eBay and in fact had only this doll up for auction. She also didn't mark her up a lot. I think her explanation that she needed some cash was the truth. The doll was dressed in the Star Hoodie outfit which I had the worst time getting off her.

#41 is easily one of the prettiest dolls that AG has created thus far. I love the new green eye color paired with dark hair. I have been hoping that AG would release a doll like this, so when they did, I knew I'd have to have her. I received mine in August 2012, and I have no complaints. She instantly became a favorite of mine. Her wig isn't too thick or too thin; it's a happy medium. I like that her curls are looser and not too tight. Here she is before I took her out of the box: Better photos to come later...I currently only have my cell phone camera to use!

#41 is my favorite JLY, by far, and one of the most prettiest dolls I own.
Her curls haven't fell yet, after having her for three years. Her hair/eye color combo is so pretty. In my opinion, she doesn't look anything like Ruthie, who my friend had.
A+. I would recommend #41 to anyone.

Lizzie, my 41, was my first AG -- and will always be my most beautiful. I put this picture together this afternoon for a somewhat different forum. Hope no one minds :-)
