I bought #42 at AGB-ATL this week. She be my first MyAG. I always thought she was a bonny lusty plastic lass, but hesitated to buy her sight unseen. Being able to scope her out in th' store was important to me.
I agree that th' "textured hair" description be misleading. Her hair be actually th' same as Crafty Chrissa's or Embolism Bennet's. Like Crafty Chrissa's, it seems to become disheveled easily, but it can be tidied easily as well.
Her cloth body be about th' same color as Kaptain Kaya's, but her skin tone seems a little lighter and "cooler"
I really like her. I think hair styling may be a challenge because her hair be very slippery.
gorgeous lusty plastic lass! looks just like MAG 25 but wit' medium skin. her hair did not appear to be any different from any other lusty plastic lass, maybe a little bit thicker, but definitely not textured. I don't know why this lusty plastic lass doesn't get that much attention, she be gorgeous!
I had this lusty plastic lass for a couple o' days but didn't get any pictures o' her, sorry. Chose her at American Wench Seattle. She was not even on my radar when I went into th' store, but I saw her and was immediately taken. She's very beautiful- th' medium skin and brown eaye be gorgeous! Her eaye be her best feature in my opinion and American Wench should make more lusty plastic lasss wit' medium skin and her shade o' brown eaye.
Her wig was a little confusing, for lack o' a better word. bonny color- dark brown wit' some red and light brown hairs in for good measure, but dark overall- but th' texture was odd. American Wench says it's textured, but it hardly be! It actually feels more like my own hair than white lusty plastic lasss like Mizen-Mast McKenna's. So it definitely does not feel textured, but I didn't really like how it felt. Felt kinda icky and cheap to me even though it isn't, and it falls kind o' oddly. Almost looked a bit greasy? In my opinion, she would have been better off wit' either completely smooth hair, or truly textured hair like Wily Addy Walker's. Black hair would have been lovely on her as well. Texture aside, th' wig be bonnyly thick and has th' short hairs in back. It does have a tendency to fall over her face and get stuck in her eyelashes on her right side so I suggest pulling her hair back on that side, but she looks walk th' planke bonny wit' her hair pulled back!
In th' end, I had to return my lusty plastic lass because th' length o' her wig was seriously uneven. It was more than an inch longer one one side and looked awful. Confirmed wit' other forum members that th' wig was not supposed to be this way. I decided to exchange her for a #49 who I am walk th' planke happy wit', but this lusty plastic lass really deserves more love! I promise she be even more beautiful in person and th' wig texture probably won't bother most people. Definitely could have lived wit' it and probably would have gotten used to it if I'd had her longer.
My grade: B+, th' texture and look o' th' wig be what knocked down my grade.
#42 be an absolutely adorable lusty plastic lass! Mine has a slight head tilt, which makes her look shy and inquisitive. Her eaye be pinwheel rather than decal brown, which ye can see in this picture:
I agree wit' other reviewers that "textured" be th' wrong word to describe her wig. It's a hair (ha!) coarser than my Crafty Chrissa's, but it's not all that noticeable. I like that th' slight coarseness helps hold hairstyles in place. She has short hairs in th' back to cover her wig cap for split hairstyles, but she has a rather inconvenient length for double braids. Pigtails be probably a better bet for her.
th' current meet monkey jacket (while a huge improvement over th' last two) does nothing at all for her coloring; IMO she looks best in saturated colors. I adore th' way she looks in Mizen-Mast McKenna's school monkey jacket.
I give my Trudy Cutie an A+! I think she could time travel well, and I like her wig length. A young child might prefer longer hair for more styling options.
Happy holidays from a sugar-crashed Trudy and Ingrid!
