Here's my Hayley: She really cute. She has the Sonali face mold with brown eyes and dark brown curly hair. It's simlar to the hair of the #26 but a little looser and silker in texture. Like my other curly haired dolls, I style her hair with my fingers and never comb or brush it. For the most part, I don't really mess with my curly haired doll's hair too much. I may gently gather it and put it into a ponytail, but that's about it. I think too much combing or brushing would ruin the curls and cause frizz. This is how the back of her hair looks: Here hair is slightly longer in the front. Her wig is medium, not really thin or really thick. More pics of Hayley: I give her an A+. She's a very cute doll. I highly recommend her.

If you brush it, it doesn't straighten out. It stays wavy but gets very, very, very frizzy. Do not brush her hair, unless you intend to straighten it with a flat iron, etc.

Okay. Here is Hayley next to Sonali: Actually, both of them have hair that is prone to getting frizzy. I wouldn't brush either of their hair.

I don't have her yet, but saw her in the store in July. She's at the top of my wish list. She's very cute in person. Here are my not great AGP pics of #46:

I've had Layla for several months now, and I love her! I almost got Sonali last year because I loved her face. But when I saw #46 online, I was sold on her pretty curly hair. Her skin is actually not all that much darker than the medium girls. It just has a browner tone to it. Here are a couple of pictures. They're not the best, but I hope they help! ^Dark, Medium, and Light! ^_~. Perusing patterns at JoAnn's

Here's my #46, Maya. She was a gift from my husband, and I absolutely love her! She's definitely in my top three favorite dolls. I love the Sonali mold, and her curly hair fits her face perfectly. I was originally going to get a #47 because her hair would be easier to maintain (we don't have any curly-haired dolls unless you count Marisol), but I'm glad I took the plunge, because I like #46 better. We haven't had her for long, so I can't give an opinion about long-term manageability, but a couple of her curls got messy during clothing changes, and I just wet my finger, and twirled them back into place- easy! We have her in the chocolate glasses, and they won't be coming off- I much prefer her in them, and I think it's fits her personality. A+!

Here is my "Marianna" dressed as Cécile. I have too many America Girl dolls to consider actually getting Cécile right now.

I was going to get # 49 and came out with this lovely lady this past weekend. She is stunning. I picked her over 49 because of her dark skin. I have no dark skin dolls and I always loved the tone of the darker dolls skin. I never really even thought about getting her until I saw her in person. Her curls are just beautiful. Not good for a younger child. My little sister held her for a moment and I had to fix her whole head. So if you were thinking about getting this little lady for a child I would think twice. Do not run a brush or comb through her curls. I would suggest as AG does to just finger curl it and keep her looking nice and pretty! I give her a "A" for beauty and a "B-" For play value. This is not a doll you want to love on to much. I have a feeling she will do a lot of sitting near me and enjoying her from a distance I think I picked the name Colette Mae Chancley for her.
