I'm not sure if I like this set, yet. I have two pet peeves about the tights - the first is that the seam on the inside of the legs is glaringly obvious; the second is the tendency of the tights to bunch up at the ankles. I think both of these relate to the fact that they're made out of something different from normal tights; it may be a tradeoff if the tights are less snag prone than regular tights, which I think they may be. I do really like the snowflakes on them, which are quite lovely. The shoes look like she stole them from Dorothy, which is to say that they're shiny and ruby. If uber shiny things aren't your thing, then these shoes are not your thing.
I really like this little set, it helped complete two non-AG outfits perfectly. As Mars said, the shoes look like Dorothy's ruby slippers, which was perfect since I'd been looking for shoes to complete this outfit for Molly:
And I love the tights with this skating dress, I thought they gave the outfit a little more pizzaz than plain white tights would have:
I have since gotten Molly's AG skating outfit and think the tights will look cute with that as well, the snowflakes will match the little snowflakes on her blue jacket!
Yes, the tights aren't quite as stretchy as others are, but I like the way they feel and the way they look once they're on. I give the set an A for versatility AND price. They were $10 when I bought them in Massachusetts.
I got these on sale from AG. I love the shoes, but the tights are just okay. They are adorable, but they don't seem to go with much. I prefer the shoes alone. I don't have the shoes to my Chocolate Cherry dress, so these little red shoes finish the look well.
