People posted in the General Discussion section that the dolls have problems staying on the benches since there is no back. There is nothing to support the doll to help them stay on the bench.

I don't want to do an actual review since I don't actually have it, but I did play with it AGPLA and decided against it. It is the only item I don't own from Chrissa's collection (other than the actual Gwen and Sonali doll), as z 'complietest' I think that says something.
The benches are very wobbly, and fell quiet. The dolls do not sit well on the benches at all. I think the actual play-ability is very limited. Even at the sale price of $60, you might be better off looking for one of the many custom/home made tables on ebay.

I haven't taken the one I bought out of the box yet to play with it, (it's a present) but the box itself is HUGE!

If it's for a child, I would definitely pass -- for reasons stated above. Ours is a constant source of frustration because the dolls won't sit up on it. It's not just the issue of the benches being backless (thought that's the main issue); it's also that the benches are not connected to the table and therefore are prone to falling over. They're top heavy with a doll sitting on top.

This actually was a bummer. Because there is no backing, the dolls can't sit well in it. I haven't noticed that the benches fall over. But overall, I would ditch this piece. I even tried to give it away and no one would take it. So now it just sits in the corner and occassionally my kids stand on to get to other things.
