We got the camper and it is huge! The box it was shipped in was big, but it was shipped all put together. So on with my review:
-The camper comes all made up, except you open the accessories and the stickers.
-The stickers are very easy to put on and do not bubble up like I thought they would. They go on flat and perfectly. I followed the magazine as to where to position the stickers.
-The accessories are very cute, but I have a few complaints. The teapot is plastic. I thought that it might be made of some kind metal like the cup and the plate that it comes with. Oh well! Speaking of the plate and cup, they are also cute and good quality, but I wish the set would've come with 2 plates and cups.
-The box of spaghetti is just that, a plain box. I do not know if it will hold up well in play, only time will tell!
-The jars of juice are just covered with a sticker that looks like they can peel easily, I think that some children may be tempted to pull it off at some point.
-The peanut butter and jelly are cute and do not open, as expected.
-The bread is cute, and comes in a package. I do think that again, children will be tempted to open it. It is taped in a way that if you do open the bread, it will not be able to be shut again. I would've also preferred if they would've given you two slices of bread that were extra so you could actually make a sandwich for your dolls.
-The food set does not let your child look like they actually have something to serve the dolls, all of the food is packaged. I just would've liked it if your child could have actually been able to serve something to the dolls, rather than just give them an empty plate.
-The sleeping bag is cute and thick, but does not close or roll like shown on the magazine. So it just has to be folded and put away.
-If the bed is closed with the sleeping bag on it, it will not latch to the wall.
-The cushion on the bench falls off easily in play, and the back cushion is made of plastic, not material.
-The major downfall, is the hitch part that has to be connected keeps falling off in play because the kids tend to shake the camper a bit in play. (What I mean by shake is closing/opening doors, the bed, and playing around inside the camper.)
-The doors open and close easily. They do latch closed.
-You can fit 2 dolls inside, but not on the bed. If the bed is down, one doll can be in the shower, and one on the bed. If the bed is up, one doll can be on the bench and the other in the kitchen.
-The drawers in the kitchen do not open. It would've been cute if they would have made the drawers have a function.
- The dial on the shower actually does turn. So do the dials on the stove.
-The shower curtain easily opens and closes and is easy to attach.
-The bed easily clips up onto the wall.
-The floor looks tiled, so does the shower. These details make a huge difference.
-The camper does seem to be made from wood, with a hard paint finish.
Overall, this is a great play piece. But you may have to remind a child not to take off any stickers! I would give it a A-
*Here's a pic to show you the size. It fits under one of my daughter's doll shelves.
