This outfit is worn by Josefina in the short story "A Reward for Josefina".
This is another must have and even nicer than the weaving outfit. The camisa is heavy, plain cotton and beautifully embroidered at the yoke. The embroidery is brick red flowers with yellow centers, green leaves and black stems. The embroiderey is very detailed and nice. The woven sash is a little small and fits skinnier Josefinas and just barely fits Gotz Little Sisters. The skirt is pretty, lightweight cotton and the little lace at the hem is a nice tough. A+

This is definitely one of my favorite outfits for Josefina. I got this outfit on ebay this past summer and I just love it on her! I was surprised that I got it for such a great deal when all of other Limited Edition outfits go for so much more than compared to this outfit. My favorite part of this outfit would definitely be the skirt. I just love that shade of green they used for this outfit. I give this outfit an A+++!

I just got this set off ebay (along with Josefina's Christmas dress) and I just adore it. The skirt is very pretty and I love the pattern, the shirt is one of the few long sleeved camisas I've seen for Josefina and the flower embroidery at the top is beautiful, and the green ribbon and the sash are adorable as well. A+ from me!

I finally put this outfit on Josefina. It's absolutely beautiful. I especially like the design of the camisa- the sleeves and the embroidery. The skirt is cute and looks comfortable. The sash is very pretty and it fit my Josefina. Overall an A+.

Josefina’s Harvest Outfit Item# JHO $22
"Josefina wore comfortable clothing to help out at harvest time: an embroidered camisa with long sleeves, a sage green skirt with lace trim, a wide burgundy sash, and a green hair ribbon with a sprig of flowers to trim her braid."
This is a beautiful set. The long camisa is a thick heavy cotton with lovely flowers embroidered on the yoke. It actually has long sleeves, Josefina's only camisa without short sleeves.
The skirt is thinner cotton than her meet skirt, but still has the cute eyelet lace trim along the bottom.
The sash is a 1 1/8" wide, 22 1/2" long, thick, reddish-brown weave. It has 1/2" light fringe on each end.
The ribbon is a 3/8" wide, 11" long, light olive, satin ribbon. If you were to make your own, I would suggest making it a bit longer than 11". That's really hard to tie around her braid.

Finally, poor Josefina gets a long-sleeved camisa! This outfit is from the dearest story about Josefina, where she and her little nephew discover a treasure trove of piñons hidden by a squirrel. As piñons and piñon candy were among my favorite treats as a little girl, I especially treasure this outfit. I got it at the same time I got my Josefina, ten years ago!
I love the embroidery on the camisa, and the full, white sleeves. The skirt has the prettiest calico pattern- it really makes the outfit. Somehow, the green color seems perfect for the fall, as if it's one last verdant thing to wear before it gets really cold. I appreciate the matching ribbon to tie at the end of Josefina's braid.
Unfortunately, in the decade since I received this outfit, the sash had gone astray. Unfortunately, it's very much like Pueblo men's hairties and I suspect that it probably got tied around my brother's hair at some point. Ah well! All of Josefina's other sashes work well with this outfit.
Grade: A+ (thank goodness Josefina finally got her long sleeves!)
I just found the whole set minus the ribbon (but plus a pair of Josefina's meet moccasins and a hanger) on eBay. This was the last hard-to-find set I wanted for Josefina, mainly because it's one of her few long-sleeved outfits. I'm glad I finally got it. The skirt is a little thin, but I like the yellow-green print and the sweet lace trim. The embroidery on the camisa's yoke is a lovely touch. The elastic on the sleeves of mine are pretty gone. Otherwise, my outfit is in perfect shape. Though it can be pricey on the secondary market, as mentioned, it's not usually as expensive as some other limited-edition outfits for historical dolls. Highly recommended, especially as Josefina doesn't have much for cooler weather.
