This item was released in 1991 and retired in 2007. There are three recognized versions of the piece. It is associated with the book, Felicity's Surprise.
PC description: One special toy was stored away to be brought out only at Christmastide in the Merriman household. Noah's ark with its little figures was Felicity's favorite. Open the ark to safely stow the animals inside. Noah and his wife fit snugly in the house on top!
Review: Super cute and very well made, I absolutely LOOOVE the tiny little animals! I also think the little yarn tales are cute.
Rating: *****

I absolutely love the Noah's Ark...my favorite accessory for Lissie. The pieces are nicely made and detailed and I love how everything fits together. Larrisa really likes this one. The pigs are my very favorite- the little knot tails!

This a beautiful set! I got it in December from the HB secret santa and I (and my Lissie) love it!

This was the first accessory set I bought for Felicity. It just seems so essential to her collection. It is very cute and very well made, although my daughter managed to pull out and lose one of the pig's tails. Despite that, the set is wonderful and gets lots of play at our house. A+!

Felicity loves her Noah's Ark! Though it is made of resin, it looks like wood. I love how the top roof of the ark comes off and the animals can go inside. The whole top lifts off and all the little animals and people can go inside. I adore the details on the figurines - Noah's beard and the yarn tails on the animals. Grade: A

Noah's Ark - Mattel version
Grade: B+
Pro's: The ark is adorable, and all the little animals are painted nicely! It has a lot of play value.
Con's: Like most accessory sets, it has lots of little pieces which are easily misplaced. Because it is going to be retiring, it is a very good idea to buy two! That way, when you lose and animal, it will be easy to replace with the extra set on hand. Also, the ark itself feels like it is made of plastic. It is not; but it is made of some sort of wood/resin type material which would be improved by making it with solid wood.
Detailed Review: This is a really cute set. I wouldn't say it's completely worth the price, but at the current sale price of $12 I would definately jump on it!

I like this set, but my review and decision to rank it less is because of the size of the set and of the animals. I also have Josefina's toy farm, and her set isn't as easy to lose. My set keeps opening up and spilling the animals all over the place. Josefina's Toy Farm doesn't do that. I like the set, it has a lot of details and is comparable to Josefina's Toy Farm, but to me it has a high potential of losing the little animals and people, more so than Josefina's Toy farm does. Grade: B+

I purchased mine when it was on sale... the lips on the figures are done verticle instead of horizontal...

Best accessory set, ever. Yes, it has many tiny wooden pieces. That just means it's an opportunity to teach kiddos to be careful with their toys. My 6 year old has been enamoured of this set since he was small, and plays with it carefully only with supervision. I love that the animals can climb the ladder, although the bigger ones have a harder time and usually have to be air-lifted. Great set, probably not terribly hard to find on eBay since it was on sale for quite a long time before being discontinued, but as with many things, beware of large mark-up from resellers trying to make profits. Grade A.

The reviews pretty much covered it but I just wanted to add that this is by far my favorite AG accessory item that we own. It is simply adorable. It's very well made and highly detailed. It's fun to play with but also fantastic for display. I think it's a must have even if you don't have Felicity or Elizabeth.

Fantastic tiny detail. A+
I held out for a Version 1 and am glad I did. It has several differences from what I can tell: 1 - Most obvious is the extra stripe around the bottom that makes it look like it is in the water already. 2 - Noah & wife have swing arms - don't know why that mattered to me but I think they're cute 3 - Noah's yarmulke is rounded. 4 - The white on Noah's chest is a beard and not a diamond.
The later the edition, it seems that something got lost in translation, especially regarding Noah.

The ark with packaging.... The figures came packaged in pockets in little strips of bubblewrap.

Felicity's Noah's are is just darling. The ark opens to store the animals, Noah, and Mrs. Noah. The pigs and horses have string tails. I have the first version in which Noah and Mrs, Noah's arms move asnf my ark has teh blue bottom stripe which makes it look like it is already in water. This set is timeless and can be used in other eras. z5 by Laura *, on Flickr
