Felicity's Travel Trunk was released in 1992 and retired in 2002. It is associated with the book, Changes for Felicity.PC descriptionL Felicity's handsome forest green travel trunk was a gift from Grandfather. The trunk has brass accents and is lined with wallpaper that has an antique pattern of brick-red and blue cherries. This is a nice item, though not worth the ebay prices. It looks just like a colonial men's briefcase trunk. The outside feels like it should be leather with metal rivets. It is nice enough to give that impression. Inside is papered with pretty paterned paper. It holds a few sundry items but not a dress like in the story. Grade: A here's a scale photo with Felicity

I have this trunk and use it as an accessory box to hold small Felicity items such as her chokers, stomachers, and garters. That is about all that will fit in it. It's not really big enough for her shift or under garments. It is very cute though, and I love how the inside is lined with paper. Also the lid doesn't stay open on it's own, but that has never been important to me. I have never seen it on ebay. If it is allowed on here, what exactly does it go for on ebay??

It is definitely not worth the price on ebay. If it actually could hold a whole outfit, maybe. It is just too small in my opinion. I know the intent is for it to be a travel trunk but I think they could have made it bigger and it still would have been an ok scale for the doll. I rate it only 2-3 stars. If they rereleased it someday, I would probably buy it but I won't ever pay the crazy ebay retired prices. Of course- I love all things Felicity. This is probably my least favorite item of hers.

I splurged for this piece on ebay. In all honesty it was most likely not worth the price for most people but I LOVED it once I opened the box. I believe it once went for $18 and I think that would have been a great deal for it. It appeared well made and VERY detailed unlike what we normally see with Mattel nowadays. I actually was amazed it didn't once sell for a higher price and kicked myself for not being interested in getting it then. Of all the retired pieces you could splurge for I think this is one of the best. You should definitely go for it (in my opinion). This is one thing I actually thought was better in person then in the pictures!

Overall rating: D-
I got mine the same time I got the LE Town Fair dress. I LOVED the significance of the trunk in the stories as I had my own special connection with my grandfather. I thought it would be so neat to act out that scene with Lissie's Habit. BIG disappointment!!!
As much as I adore Lissie's "world", this trunk has got to be one of the dumbest things they made. lol Yes, it feels like leather and is very cute, but it's basically a lingerie box, at least that's what I use it for. I think most of Lissie's smaller clothing items, stockings, garters, necklaces, would fit, but if you're thinking of putting any caps or dresses in there, no way. I am SOO glad I did not buy this myself or I would have felt ripped off. I do feel my grandmother was, since she bought it for me...
Honestly, *this* should have been made larger, like Kirsten or Josa's Trunks. I'm not sure what the price on ebay is right now, but the last time I looked, the ones I saw were over $50 and that's absurd. If you can find it for under $30 that's probably okay. I personally would not have paid more than $10 for it.

My AG Lissie trunk has historically accurate pleather. . The brass fitting are again, accurate brass jewerly latches, and the wallpaper is "historically" accurate sticker/vinyl tape (?). Anyway, it's cute, but b/c of the pleather, sort of hard to open. So, pleather it is, and the only "leather" there (I think) are the brown bands that trim it. Note: I'm not at all expecting the whole wallpaper/leather/etc. It's just a cute item, and made with pleather, that's all.
