I recently aquired this set in a Craigslist lot. The set is complete with the exception of the herb bunch that I replaced. Grade: A- (gathering basket feels delicate) This set is beautiful. The mortar is heavy metal and pestle is wood. The pocketbook is made of real leather and is very soft. Inside the pocket book there is a letter from Elizabeth, the newspaper ad that Felicity's father placed and a map that Felicity gives to Ben. (mod edit for photos)

I give this set a B. I've had it since I was a kid. It's cute and fun to play with, but the only piece that isn't easily found/crafted elsewhere is the mortar and pestle. For the price of retired items, it's a bit steep for a basket, some fake flowers, and a pocketbook otherwise.
The pocketbook is nicely embroidered and real leather, but it's a bit difficult to display. It's too big (by far) to fit in Lissie's pocket and the leather is stiff enough to make it pop open all the time (as in the photos). I like it, but I find it hard to display it in any charming manner.
The basket is not something I couldn't find elsewhere, but it is cute and the nice thing is you can also use it for gathering flowers (from Lissie's spring birthday set) and holly in the winter (when Lissie decorated their house for Christmastide in the books).

This is a great set. It is so integral to Felicity's story. The flowers do not really look like lavender and witch hazel, but the springs of holly are very believable. I got this second hand, so hopefully I arranged the flowers close to properly. mod edit to remove broken image link
