Released in 1994, retired in 2014. Associated with Addy Saves the Day.
Addy’s stylish canvas boots have shinny patent leather toes and heels, and they lace up on the insides.
Bought these to go with her Flower-Picking.
The Good: Very cute, and they match with a few of her outfits. I'm pretty sure that most of Kirsten and Addy's boots are inter-changable, so you sort of get extra for your money.
The Bad: Nothing.
Rating: ****, A

They are pretty sturdy. Much better then the meet boots that Kirsten comes with. Those annoy the heck out of me. But I will save that for a Kirsten Meet outfit review.

I really like these, my only issue is that the shoelaces in mine are really long! Overall an A+.

The lace up boots are so pretty! They're made from off-white canvas with black patent leather toes and heels and lace up the sides. I unlaced the boots almost all the way when putting them on Addy's feet. They are a bit snug but with a little pulling, they fit fine. They look nice with her summer dresses. These stiff canvas boots lace up the sides with cloth laces (not the cheap vinyl ones like Kirsten's) and look very pretty and well made, however, the newer ones do not fit older dolls, not even older Mattel dolls. (Unless I had a defective pair that was extra small). Grade: A

Very cute, got them last week. Sturdy sole. My biggest issue is that I had to struggle to get them on her barefoot, and they won't go over thin socks at all. My Addy is early PM, so that may be the reason.

My Addy is early PM, so that may be the reason. No, I believe the shoes are just made small. I got the lace-ups in 1993 (the same year I got Addy), and they have always been difficult to put on her. I never use them for that reason.

I think the boots look great with lots of other outfits, but the laces left black lace marks on my doll in xx pattern.

I like the way these boots look, but they left black marks on my Addy as well. Grade - C

I've got a pair of these, and I'm a bit ambivalent about recommending them. On one hand, they are the most adorable boots ever, and they can work for a lot of different eras--they look great on modern dolls as well as with the mid-nineteenth century types.
On the other hand, they CANNOT be worn without dark stockings, because the black laces will stain the doll's legs or white socks if they are worn for any length of time. Also, they are pretty hard to get on. I can get them on all my dolls' feet--the ancient PC ones as well as the new Mattels--but quite a bit of squishing and tugging is needed to get them on properly.
So, in summary: Judging purely on looks: A Practically speaking: C+

Addy's Lace-Up Boots - A+ I think these are Addy's sweetest pair of shoes. Anyone on the fence about these boots should buy a pair immediately.

These boots are adorable, but every pair that I’ve ever seen has yellowing of the canvas fabric. I’m not sure why this happens.
