Addy's Patriotic Party Dress is a very nice dress. It's kind of plain and simple but the little lace trim makes it nicer. The sash is made from Grosgrain ribbon and formed into a rosette. The scroll is on "parchment" paper and ties with a little green ribbon. This set could easily be duplicated. I used resume paper and typed the excerpt from Addy's original scroll to make one for a board member. B+  |

Does anyone know how much this outfit would be on ebay? About $40-$60 depending on how complete the set is and its' condition. Mine came in new condition without the green ribbon around the scroll, but with the sash and scroll, plus the original box. It was one of my first ebay purchases and I bid late at night, just before it ended. I put in my "maximum bid" hastily and with out my glasses on and clicked confirm. Arghh.. I peered at the screen and saw that I had just confirmed a maximum bid of $4200.00! It was a tense 30 seconds until the bidding ended at, I think, $52.00. So I only paid about $10 over what I would have, instead of potentially $4158.00!  |

This dress recently became my absolute favorite out of all Addy's PC dresses. It really reminds me of something from Little House on the Prairie, which might be the reason I'm so fond of it. The color looks amazing on Addy's "skin", and the white trim around the collar, cuff, and hem is just the right touch. I also love the tiny white dots. The material is heavier, which I prefer for durability. The little detail of Lincoln on the sash makes me, quite frankly, nostalgic for the amazing detail that PC was known for. I also love the fact that the sash snaps, which makes it easier to put on. The dress is fun and festive, and could double as a Christmas/Holiday dress for another doll in addition to patriotic holidays. Also looks cute with her apron! A! |

I bought this dress last week among other Addy Hard to find goodies.. And I just love it. Kaya is currently wearing it. I do NOT own Addy. But I plan on owning Addy's entire wardrobe before the month is over.. Here is the pic with original PC Packaging..  |
