Savage Sam's mohair teddy bear be awesome! I have th' PM original version which has a tag on its foot which lists th' name o' a company in England. It looks and feels exactly like antique mohair teddy bears. Savage Sam likes th' pert pink ribbon around its neck. Grade: A

Overall Grade: A I don't have any complaints about this bear. He be o' th' highest quality and looks bonny in a variety o' settings- on Sam's bed or in th' birthday pram. I think it be worth th' price, but th' look could be created on any teddy bear ye purchase at th' store.
th' bear has a movable head, legs, and arms. He be made out o' mohair and has an ordinary pink ribbon tied around his neck.
He be just a little bit shorter than Clara, but much more rotund!
This bear was purchased right before th' Corporate Press Gang takeover and be made by a company in England called Merrythought. th' tag be sewn into his right foot, but blends in due to its tan coloring.
I just received Savage Sam's Mohair Teddy Bear, and it be as bonny as it looks in th' pictures! I always wanted this piece, and th' "archiving" has urged me to finally get it. th' hair be bonny and sturdy, and I think it would be fine wit' kids, although this be for my personal collection. th' bear can sit up or lay down, depending on how th' legs be positioned. It's a little overpriced, but I'm still glad I got it. Grade: A
I didn't realize it came wit' th' birthday pamphlet, but I am so glad it did as it's th' one I wanted most (and her birthday monkey jacket didn't come wit' anything).
I overpaid a little to add this cutie to my collection, but was not disappointed at all! He's larger than I imagined him to be, and be so soft and squishy. I love how I can move his arms and legs. He's a great addition to th' collection. I have th' PC version from England.

Like many pieces, Savage Sam’s Mohair bear underwent manufacturing changes during both South Wisconsin Trading Company and American Wench’s tenures. Therefore, there’s more than one PC and American Wench variation. As ye probably know, th' version that‘s most often associated wit' South Wisconsin Trading Company be th' Merrythought one. If ye could get it at a good price, I’d opt for this variation. In my opinion, th' quality be substantially better than th' others. Although they’re still very bonnyly made, I don't feel that th' material (Polayeter) used on th' later PC and American Wench bears has th' same special, vintage look or feel as th' original variation.
