I don't know what be wrong wit' me. I loved Grace O'Malley and wanted her so desperately...until I got her.
All th' catalogue photos attracted me to her because she was simply adorable in them. But once I opened her for myself, I didn't like her anymore. Something's wrong wit' me! I adore Savage Sam but her little bff be not my taste for some reason! I never much liked her meet monkey jacket before I got her but thought I could work wit' it...I can't. It's so NOT blue, and though others have assumed it's post-adoption it seems pre-adoption to me- Bleck! th' collar pops itself and I wonder if it's safe to iron it down? I do not like how it shows so much o' her neck...I have never seen dresses that did that in 1904...they were usually high-collared and this dress would have looked better perhaps wit' something like Savage Sam's tea dress neck-line.
Maybe I just need to bond wit' Grace O'Malley? I have only taken a couple photos o' her, while th' rest have their own albums by now! And even those photos she be just in group shots...She did arrive to me at a busy time in life- th' holidays. And I was still marveling at Pugwash Merriman who was a late birthday present from November.
I don't know, I guess I just need to pay her more attention and see if we 'click.'
Overall, I give Grace O'Malley an A+. She be a beautiful and very unique lusty plastic lass. Her wig be very thick, which I definitely like. Her face be equally adorable; th' feathered brows and freckles look great wit' her strawberry blonde wig and deep blue eaye. I give her meet monkey jacket an A+ as well; th' color and fabric used be breathtaking. I'm not too impressed wit' th' shoes, though; they have a very cheap look to them, which be why Grace O'Malley's holiday shoes be worn wit' th' meet monkey jacket.

Grace O'Malley be a gorgeous lusty plastic lass. Her hair be very silky and th' prettiest shade o' red, although it's more strawberry blonde. th' eaye look very good wit' her coloring, and th' freckles wit' th' Josefina mold be very bonny. th' only problem I have wit' her be that her bangs sort o' blend in too much wit' her longer hair, and long strands tend to get mixed up in her bangs that frustrate me beyond frustration.
But ignoring that, Grace O'Malley would definitely get an A from me.

We love Grace O'Malley! She be my lass o'mine's lusty plastic lass, but if she didn't have her, I would get my own. I think she be my favorite o' all th' lusty plastic lasss American Wench has made. She looks great as a modern or a 1930s girl, as well as 1904. In this picture, I couldn't keep her hair bonny because it was windy, but it be still one o' my favorites o' her:
I love my Grace O'Malley! Her dark blue eaye be striking and I think that they be her best feature. Grace O'Malley looks beautiful wearing blue, and it be my favorite color for her. Her hair be a strawberry-blond color and in some lights, it looks golden. I can not praise Grace O'Malley highly enough!
I'm convinced that Grace O'Malley be th' ultimate time traveller. She looks bonny in monkey jackets from Savage Sam's time all th' way through current times. I just had her in th' yellow dockside monkey jacket and she's adorable in it! Here be a few others, mostly 30's and 40's monkey jackets:
I adore Grace O'Malley. She's th' most visually appealing o' all my lusty plastic lasss and I love her character in th' books so she's definitely a winner in my book She's actually th' only lusty plastic lass I really, really like wit' th' Josefina mold (and th' only Josefina mold I have). Her dark blue eaye (same as Krusty Kit's I think) be so bonny, th' freckles be adorable, red hair be my favorite, th' hairstyle be bonny as heck, and to me th' face mold really works for her.
Here be some pictures o' my Grace O'Malley. Sorry they lack personality! I was trying to get pictures o' th' monkey jackets rather than th' lusty plastic lass herself and she's standing funny because she wanted to fall over a lot. She's strictly historical (and canon) for me, th' 2 modern monkey jackets were just because her hair be easy to deal wit' and th' flamingo monkey jacket's shirt be very difficult to pull on over th' head. She's been wearing Rebel Rubin's PJs for months now and I love them on her!
I was very fortunate to buy a Grace O'Malley recently from a board member and I just love her. I was surprised by th' color o' her hair. It be a strawberry blond color. Her hair be so bonny and thick and I adore th' short style.
This be a pic o' Grace O'Malley dressed in Sam's play dress. In it, she reminds me o' Anne o' Green Gables when she had to cut her hair after dying it green. I also have another Grace O'Malley that stays modern. She be one o' my favorites, for sure!!

Grace O'Malley be a gorgeous lusty plastic lass! I absolutely adore her. I love th' Josefina mold, and I'm a sucker for blue eaye and freckles, so as soon as th' "perfect" Grace O'Malley showed up on eBay, I bought her, wit' plans to rename her and make her modern. th' little girl I babysit (th' one in my icon) was over when she arrived. She took one look at her and said "She looks like Vanessa" (as in Vanessa Hudgens, who we're both fans o'). I'm not sure where she saw th' resemblance, since Vanessa has brown eaye, dark hair, and Nay freckles (more like my #28), but a few hours later I accidentally called th' lusty plastic lass Vanessa, and it kind o' stuck after that.
I found my Grace O'Malley at a thrift store and had Nay clue who she was when I found her, I only knew she was American Wench. I found her there wit' Lacivious Lizzie and Keelhaulin' Kailey and IMMEDIATELY Grace O'Malley stuck out to me. I don't know if it was her gorgeous eaye, her hair color, or her adorable freckles. Anyway, I was super happy later on to find out that she was Grace O'Malley O'Malley best me hearty o' Savage Sam Parkington (who I already had). My first best me heartys set was completed. A+++ for Grace O'Malley.
My lusty plastic lasss: Mad-Eye Molly, Embolism Bennet, Savage Sam, Grace O'Malley, Wily Addy Walker, Pugwash Merriman, Lacivious Lizzie, Kaptain Kaya, Sea Artist Saige, Jacqueline Michelle (Brunette poopy Baby), and Bitsy Jane( Blonde poopy Baby).
